Pastries are fresh & pretty. I bought around a dozen pastries as a holiday gift to bring to my doctor's staff. At the cash they had orders aside which were nicely presented in plastic catering trays. I asked if I could buy a tray for my order (or alternatively get a box) & the woman serving us very rudely told me those were exclusively for online orders. She seemed annoyed there were even people there ordering food. Their pastry platter in a catering tray when bought online start at $25. I spent $75 & they shoved everything on top of each other in a paper bag. I was frustrated that they did not offer packaging for a significant in-store order instead of ramming all of the pastries (some of which have icing, filling, or are delicate) into one bag together.
The brioche was tasty enough-although it's not Parisian brioche, but more of a dense salty-sweet cornbread.
Visited on a Sunday & ordered a chocolatine, cheese croissant, chai latte, & a large cappuccino. The pastries tasted defrosted rather than fresh. The chai latte was so sweet it was undrinkable. The large cappuccino cup was only half full. Disappointing overall-won't be coming back
Excellent pastries, too many to choose from,& very helpful staff. Wonderful place.
We loved this place so much that we returned multiple times in our short stay in Montréal. The pastries are delicious & very affordable. The latte is excellent. The space is charming. The staff is helpful. Can't recommend it enough!
Voted best croissant in Montreal. Their pastries are really good & made fresh daily. I ordered a hamburger bun & chocolate financier this time. Limited seating, but better than the other location.
Have such yummy pur beurre croissant, coffee , sandwiches & their pastries like the hazelnut cake is so good! Recommend forsure !
Best pastry in Montreal! #1 food place to visit!!! Croissants & desserts are mind blowing & delicious. The baristas & staff are super super friendly & nice. & I was shocked by the price, for 2 coffees, 2 pastries & 2 desserts we only paid 20$ 🤯 pastries are big too, we ended up leaving half of it for for lunch later. Amazing place in a nice area! Would definitely recommend to everyone!!!!
We got attracted by the sign claiming "Meilleurs Croissants à Montréal" - bold statement for a bakery located on Le Plateau with so many choices around. This may well be true. The unusually large croissants & chocolatines make for a wonderful French pastries based breakfast. Bonus point for the amount of butter they have in them. We love them!
Pastries, chocolates & food overall are great. Croissants are to die for. BUT for the 4 weeks that we have been coming there the service has been consistently unpleasant in many ways. It's a shame because we love the food :
First time in, bought a cake, some pastries, & a couple of croissants. The cake was absolutely heavenly - a raspberry chocolate mousse - light & extraordinarily flavourful. I am not a croissant expert so I can't say if they are the best in Montreal, but they certainly are huge. Staff were lovely btw
Neighborhood bakery that sells bread & pastries. We had a mix of breakfast pastries & one baguette. A small selection of cookies was also available. Everything is made from scratch & top quality. We bought our baguette at 2pm so it was on the hard side later in the evening. Hearing up in the oven was the best way to make it taste good. You maybe want to go there in the morning if you want it to be fresh Prices were like any bakery in the Plateau so it's a treat more than anything. I would recommend this place over Starbucks any day of the week!
