About us

Downtown Montreal is home to a brand new occupant, and we’re here to have a good time. A social lounge, an artisan bar and a modern bistro, Bivouac provides an urban and boreal gastronomic experience to all who pass through its doors.

Here, the objective is simple: to introduce guests to a whole new world of tastes and sensations. Taking advantage of the best that the Quebec region and its artisans have to offer.

Bivouac is where guests can get away from the chaos of city life to explore, share and enjoy the quintessence of our nature, all during a meal.

Located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on the 6th floor of Complexe Desjardins.
In summer, the Bivouac Terrace offers a breathtaking view of the city and is perfectly located to enjoy the lively Place des Festivals. In winter, the Refuges du Bivouac offer to set up a camp for an evening under a beautifully decorated and heated dome that can accommodate up to 10 people, in the heart of the entertainment district.

Super accueil par le maître d'hôtel , Carolanne a été très avenante & à l'écoute de nos demandes ! Nos enfants végétariens se sont régalés avec le choix dans le menu les concernant . La déco au top nous avons adoré notre expérience & la renouvellerons très rapidement sur la terrasse au printemps pour une dégustation d'un excellent cocktail ! & la cerise sur le sunday le parking est offert petit bémol la signalétique dans le celui-ci pour accéder au restaurant !

Excellent service & la nourriture était délicieuse. Tout était parfait en partant du cocktail jusqu'au dessert.

Très bonne sélection de vins dont certains québécois & canadiens.

Le restaurant offre une belle ambiance & une superbe vue sur la place des arts, la maison de OSM & la rue Ste-Catherine.

C'était un pur délice! Tout sans exception était savoureux ! Nous avons mangé la morue & le filet mignon qui fondait dans la bouche. Le pouding chômeur version allégé... succulent! Des produits de chez nous👌Le service extraordinaire! Nous le recommandons vivement & nous y retournerons prochainement assurément!
