Downtown Montreal is home to a brand new occupant, and we’re here to have a good time. A social lounge, an artisan bar and a modern bistro, Bivouac provides an urban and boreal gastronomic experience to all who pass through its doors.

Here, the objective is simple: to introduce guests to a whole new world of tastes and sensations. Taking advantage of the best that the Quebec region and its artisans have to offer.

Located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on the 6th floor of Complexe Desjardins.
In summer, the Bivouac Terrace offers a breathtaking view of the city and is perfectly located to enjoy the lively Place des Festivals. In winter, the Refuges du Bivouac offer to set up a camp for an evening under a beautifully decorated and heated dome that can accommodate up to 10 people, in the heart of the entertainment district.

Personnel très accueillant. Belle terrasse au 6e étage sur le Quartier des Spectacles. L'assiette de charcuteries, la morue, les côtes levées étaient excellentes, belle présentation. Portion généreuse sans que ce soit trop. Beaucoup de personnel qui s'occupe de nous. Beaucoup de gens allait à un spectacle à 20:00 & notre serveur a bien gérer les commandes, le service & la facturation. Une très belle expérience.

Bonne bouffe, bon service, décor agréable. Rapport qualité prix: on a juste trouvé un peu cher par rapport à ce qu'on a mangé. Il y avait un bien meilleur rapport qualité-prix pendant Montréal à Table.

Service impeccable & le personnel très sympathique. Le menu créatif est exquis & il y en a pour tous les goûts. Nous avons dégusté avec plaisir chacun de nos plats. Suffisamment d'espace entre les tables & l'ambiance favorise les belles conversations. Une formidable découverte en face de la Place des Arts! Nous y retournerons assurément!

Perfect summer evening!
The place is great for chilling while sipping a cocktail or like we did have a high quality dishes.
The waiter gave us very nice recommendation for pairing the charcuterie with a local wine! Can't be better. Highly recommended for spending a friendly evening on the terrasse.

Je suis allée au Bivouac pour un souper d'affaires & tout le monde a apprécié la soirée : le service était attentionné & prévenant, les plats étaient particulièrement délicieux & nous ont mis les papilles en joie. J'ai opté pour le pavé de morue aux épices boréales accompagné d'une polenta aux tomates & aux olives : un vrai délice, & une belle finesse en bouche ! Je recommande vivement cette place & j'ai vraiment hâte d'y retourner !
