The food was unbelievable, & the staff & sommelier were so helpful. If you are in Venice & want a memorable dinner, I would recommend Bistrot de Venise. You will not be disappointed.
I have no words to express the feeling of having dinner at that exceptional place! Simply perfect on every level: food, service, attitude, approach, place, everything! The most delicious food I've ever tasted, together with my beloved ones! If you plan to go to Venice & you don't plan to visit the restaurant, better don't go at all! 3 Michelin stars are far not enough for the quality of these amazing people!
Exceptional place with flawless service & amazing food. Deserves its reputation of being the best restaurant in Venice.
This restaurant should already have a Michelin star! Amazing service & amazing quality of dishes. A full story behind each dish & each ingredient. The staff was very nice & careful to all the details. Best quality-price restaurant in Venice!
The food is outstanding. Complete with complimentary amuse bouche & after-dinner petit fours, this restaurant goes above & beyond. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation, so be sure to reserve a table & have an amazing dining experience. A Venice must. Enjoy.
Totally recommended. In a great city with highly variable quality restaurant food & experience this place just nails it. It is classic high quality european dining. The menu is there to challenge & please as you wish with both traditional venetian & typical modern dishes. (e.g. Beef tongue or duck). Cooking is sophisticated. The service is exceptional. I'd imagine the tasting menu is exceptional but we went a la carte. The decor is warm & feels special. It's a bit expensive but not outrageous or in any way exploitative & worth every cent. You could visit with your partner or friends or family. Plently of options & price points. Special shout out to Stephane the somellier. A true partner to you & the restaurant to enhance your dining experience; give him free rein! I'll be back every time I come back to Venice. I rarely give 5 stars for anything.
An absolute culinary gem! Their signature dish, "Raw-Cooked" Risotto is the best risotto I've ever had in my life. Each bite is a journey through the flavors of Venice. Their desserts are exceptional, especially the revisited pana cota "Maya the Bee" is a real masterpiece. The ambiance & service only add to the overall delightful experience. Highly recommend.
Propably the best restaurant in Venice. Amazing food. Fantastic wine pairing. Friendly & skilled service. A nice mix of modern cuisine with traditional venetian Recepies. An interior like you traveled back in time. We took the surprise menu & were delighted
Worthy of Michelin recognized excellence. The food puts a unique modernization to Venitian tradition. Everything is presented beautifully, even the gorgeous water bottles. A delicate amuse bouche added to a perfect meal. Everyone was warm, hospitable & professional. Dara added many laughs to the experience. So good we went back a second time. Recommend the prawns, Linguine alla "Buzara", Spaghettoni with cuttlefish in "Black",Tiramisu & the Panna Cotta but I can't imagine anything on the menu not to be wonderful. If you are in Venice, this is a must try.
Went to have dinner two weeks ago. It was the best dinner I had in my two weeks in Europe. Amazing food , service & ambience . Venice is magical .
Loved the atmosphere, service, & we agreed our favorite restaurant while we were in Venice. Will definitely be back! They also accommodated our begging for a table with no reservation, which we are forever 🙏.
Close to St Mark’s Square, this is probably the best restaurant in Venice for foodies. We had raw giant red prawn from Sicily that would be excellent for sashimi or sushi, tender beef tongue with historical garnishes; smoked eel, pasta with a rich seafood sauce, & duck breast. All dishes were delicately prepared with well balanced flavors. The restaurant offers both an a la carte as well as tasting menus. There are both historical & modern sections of the menu. There is both inside & outside seating in a quiet alley. Service was top notch. Will definitely come back when we visit Venice again.

Great food. The service was on the spot & the desserts caught me off guard. Venice’s heritage enhanced with this one.
Bistrot de Venise provided an experience that far surpassed my expectations for a Michelin-starred meal in Venice. From the moment I arrived, I was entranced by the enchanting ambiance, accentuated by charming street-side tables that perfectly captured the spirit of Venetian elegance.
The food was nothing short of extraordinary. I began my culinary journey with the Prawns in "Saor," an appetizer steeped in historic Venetian cuisine. The prawns were impeccably cooked & beautifully complemented by spiced onions, sultanas, & pine nut milk. The amalgamation of flavors & textures was a delightful sensory experience that left me eagerly awaiting the next course.
For my main dish, I had the "Raw-Cooked" Risotto, a specialty of Bistrot de Venise & a first-place winner at the 8th National Enogastronomic Competition "Pistolto del Sommelier." The risotto was transcendent—infused with fennel, adorned with "cooked-raw" shellfish, & subtly accented by dill essence, licorice, & star anise powder. Each bite was a celebration of culinary artistry, complex yet harmonious in its flavor profile.
What elevated the experience from excellent to exceptional was the attentive & knowledgeable service provided by our waiter. He guided us through the menu with expertise, ensuring that our dining experience was as comfortable as it was memorable.
In summary, Bistrot de Venise offers an unforgettable dining experience that marries culinary innovation with attentive service, all set against the backdrop of Venice's timeless allure. It is, without a doubt, a must-visit for anyone seeking the pinnacle of Venetian cuisine.
