Bâton Rouge is the place for ribs (in my opinion) however I was so disappointed & I was so looking forward to it.
My ribs were dry, not enough sauce, my baked potato was prepared long in advanced & felt warmed up. I didn’t have the traditional coleslaw on my plate nor any condiments like sour cream. No wet napkins to wipe your hands either.
I get food prices have gone up but so have the prices on the menu. They serve the minimum food & mediocre food quality. Truly disappointing.
Amazing service with great ribs. I didn't have my phone otherwise I would have taken a ton of pictures.

Very good service, but the food was horrible because I was served rotten beef, it was even smelling. So I don't know why chef served something like that to me.
They just left me with questions I don't it's because of our origin.
& I nearly forgot Even my friend she ordered beef ribs which were bad but they just added a lot of barbecue sauce to cover it up.
But anyways it is what it is.

Trop bruyant & trop commercial à mon goût. Ça donne l'impression d'être pressé pour faire de la place au prochain client. On voit que les ribs pas trop de temps sur le grill c'est du réchauffé. Pour le prix je trouve l'expérience ordinaire. Les quantités sont par contre très généreuses.

Mediocre experience. It feels they have cut down on pork ribs quality. My party was not impressed with the dining experience.
Bâton Rouge knew better times...

I went there just to try the 30 yrs anniversary special at 95$. It was deceiving, the actually meal is totally off from the picture you see on the website. As an example, they said "generous portion of pilaf" that was like 3 spoons of pilaf, so go figure the rest. The worst was the bavette, it tasted horrible. It tasted like a plain frozen bloody bavette thrown on the grill for a few minutes. It tasted really bloody, I expected they would season it a bit, no, nada , so yea...
However the 3* is for the service, we had Annie & she was great & very responsive. Next time, just stick to the ribs, period.

Dinner was just okay. Had the French Onion soup to start & it was not very good. Not sure what kind of cheese they use on top but it was terrible. The broth, croutons & onions were good. My wife & I both had the rack of ribs with a baked potato as the side. Although the ribs tasted fantastic they were not very hot (room temperature at best). The baked potato was good but they only gave a small dollop of sour cream, enough for about 3 bites. We asked for extra & they brought a very small container.
The service was very good however...server was very attentive.
All in all we were not impressed...we've had much better experiences in the past.

The ambiance was good. Our waitress was amazing. However, we had to wait a while for our main courses because there were many large groups. Our ribs were a little burnt. I do not like the fact that all deliveries are done at the same place as where we wait to be seated. It creates a crowd of people waiting. Deliveries should be done at a different entry point &/or not during prime time on Friday's or Saturday's.
In spite of all of that, I would still return.

Great place as usual. This time I decided not to take my usual ribs. I got the devil burger. It was great, tasty & filled with onion rings & arugula. The salmon tartare was very good also. Decent portion. My boyfriend had a steak topped with goat cheese & walnuts it was perfectly cooked & amazingly tasty. Came with very good pilaf rice & sweet potato fries.
The service was abit out of line. We were seated at a table for 8 although we had reserved for 10. They had to scramble to add two more chairs we were stuck like sardines. At least the service was fast & the waiter friendly.

You can't go wrong @Baton Rouge! If you love meat with a nice dining experience, this is the place! The food, specifically the ribs, are delicious! Albeit a little on the pricier side, it's well worth it!
We were there for lunch (the lunch menu runs until 3pm, a little less expensive), the waitress who served us was very polite & friendly & the resto is very clean. Our food arrived in good timing & everyone enjoyed their food (ribs, steak, burger were what we had).
I eat here quite often for a nice treat & would suggest Baton Rouge to anyone who enjoys good food & service!

was there last night we had ribs not much meat on some ribs the fries are ok service was good to dark then again its probably for you not to see the lack of meat on the ribs
