We dined at Baton Rouge (Carrefour Laval) last night & after our meal, which was ok, we decided to get the advertised'Seasonal Dessert' which the Marketing person had done a phenomenal job of advertising. You can imagine our confusion when we received the actual pudding chomeur the restaurant was serving. This was FALSE ADVERTISING at its best!!
It was anything but a pudding chomeur. The picture really tells the full story....we literally got served a piece of bread that had been sitting in syrup the entire day, if not for more than a day. It was completely drenched, like a sponge. It was disgusting...
Shame on Baton Rouge for misleading its customers, shame on the cook who should be fired for producing food like this & serving it to clients who paid $250+ for their bill. The dessert is perhaps the most important part of the meal. Clients are paying $12-15 for a tiny piece of something so they can end their meal on a sweet note, & this is the memory you want them to leave with?
Please do better....or change your cook to one that can at least try to match the image you've used to represent your product & your brand.

We had a wonderful experience at Baton Rouge! The food was delicious, the portions were generous, & everything was cooked perfectly. The service was friendly, attentive, & made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was warm & inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. We will definitely be coming back & highly recommend it!

Nourriture moyenne (croquettes de poulet un peu degarnies, hamburger sec, sangria moyenne, cocktail hugo ok), le service & l ambiance ok…ce qui nous a choqué c est la machine à payer qui suggerait à partir de 18% de tip & la serveuse qui restait là à côté de nous quand on faisait le payement….c'est pathétique , innaceptable, ça a gâché pas mal l expérience de la soirée😌
Great service! Waiter was attentive, engaging & accomodating. The food is great too, & we can have time to eat at our leisure. 10/10, no notes, will visit again!
Un immense merci à notre serveuse Maria, qui a offert un service exceptionnel du début à la fin pour notre graduation. Elle était à la fois professionnelle, efficace, rapide & très drôle, ce qui a rendu notre expérience encore plus agréable.
La nourriture était très bonne dans l'ensemble. Les steaks étaient parfaitement cuits, exactement comme nous les avions demandés, & le reste du repas était à la hauteur de nos attentes.
Mon seul petit bémol concerne le mac & cheese à la truffe. Nous étions deux à le commander & nous avons tous les deux été assez déçus. Nous nous attendions à un plat beaucoup plus crémeux & fromager mais malheureusement, il manquait de richesse & de saveur. Mis à part ce détail, tout était très bien.
