The place looks amazing but sadly the food was mediocre at best. Got the seafood platter with a dry salmon, undercooked lobster tail & overcooked shrimp. The drinks were fun & tasty.
The waiter was polite & friendly but the long wait for the food sadly didn't help.
The place is right next to Sheraton Laval hotel. Quite pricey but the food was good. The octopus 🐙 was grilled to perfection, placed on a bed of smashed potato salad with halved cherry tomato. All was good taste wise & texture wise.
My friend had the beef tartare & it was good too.

Very good service, but the food was horrible because I was served rotten beef, it was even smelling. So I don't know why chef served something like that to me.
They just left me with questions I don't it's because of our origin.
& I nearly forgot Even my friend she ordered beef ribs which were bad but they just added a lot of barbecue sauce to cover it up.
It was a long time since we visited this restaurant. We were very impressed with the new location. It was our birthday & really enjoyed the meal & the service was very good. Our waitress took care of us as if we were family & was very pleasant. She did a special for dessert since it was our birthday which was very greatly appreciated. There is no doubt we will be returning & recommending this Baton Rouge to our friends.
Went to BR in Laval for business lunch on Tuesday November 1st. Was quiet & seated quickly in a booth. We were 3 people. In a couple of minutes after being seated we were greeted by our waitress who was cheerful & asked us if we wanted a drink so we ordered Caesars. They were delicious & quickly drank lol. After that we decided on some appetizers so we tried the fried shrimp in general tao sauce - OMG so delicious & good portion plate for the value too! As mains we ordered the BR burger with fries; the spicy burger with sweet potato fries(found burger to be on dry side); & bavet de boeuf with chimichurri & veggies only. Everything was delicious but the person who got the bavet was surprised how small the steak was - half a palm of your hand! He was still hungry after eating his meal lol Anyways we had coffee only no dessert as we were in a rush. Overall the service was amazing & on par - always around & refilling our soft drinks as they were free refills too which is nice offering. Food was good too!. Would definitely return for the shrimps!
We have been many times & our experience last night was horrible. The food was ok but the service was horrible. The server was not friendly, not accommodating to what we wanted couldn't even substitute an item for another. No refills, we kept bb speaking to Him in English & kept speaking French. Checked on us once the whole time. When he arrived at our table I though he was a bus boy. Anyway won't be going back anytime soon.
I had never been to this location. Met a good friend of mine for lunch. Service was top notch & food was delicious. I will definitely go back should I be in this area again.
Never again. The food was disgusting the fried over cooked.
The manager that ladie shouldn't be working there she's very bad & didn't want to replace our plate & charged us with full price. Never again I rather go somewhere else like the keg for the same price. Shame on you for not taking care of our 10 people
I took my mother & my sister for lunch there for Mother's Day. We were seated at a table with other tables around us. I went to the bathroom & noticed there were 2 booths available & I asked if we could move to the booths & they let us. The staff was very friendly.
We didn't wait long for our meals & the food was delicious! One of the managers/owner (I assume) was giving out roses for Mother's Day & gave my mother one.
I would definitely go back to Bâton Rouge (Laval) again.
Great place as usual. This time I decided not to take my usual ribs. I got the devil burger. It was great, tasty & filled with onion rings & arugula. The salmon tartare was very good also. Decent portion. My boyfriend had a steak topped with goat cheese & walnuts it was perfectly cooked & amazingly tasty. Came with very good pilaf rice & sweet potato fries.
The service was abit out of line. We were seated at a table for 8 although we had reserved for 10. They had to scramble to add two more chairs we were stuck like sardines. At least the service was fast & the waiter friendly.

You can't go wrong @Baton Rouge! If you love meat with a nice dining experience, this is the place! The food, specifically the ribs, are delicious! Albeit a little on the pricier side, it's well worth it!
We were there for lunch (the lunch menu runs until 3pm, a little less expensive), the waitress who served us was very polite & friendly & the resto is very clean. Our food arrived in good timing & everyone enjoyed their food (ribs, steak, burger were what we had).
I eat here quite often for a nice treat & would suggest Baton Rouge to anyone who enjoys good food & service!
was there last night we had ribs not much meat on some ribs the fries are ok service was good to dark then again its probably for you not to see the lack of meat on the ribs
