The pizza was fresh, cheesy, & packed with flavor - exactly what you want from a good Italian spot. The mocktails were refreshing & paired perfectly with the food. Great ambiance, friendly staff, & an overall amazing dining experience. Would definitely come back!
Me & my friends spontaneously picked this restaurant earlier in the day while we were in Old Port because of Italian food craving. First thing we noticed was how welcoming Dil (sorry i might've misheard his name but the server with curly hair & glasses working a dinner shift oct. 28) was 😁 we were asked where we wanted to sit & was able to grab the table with a rear view of the whole restaurant. We're from Toronto so the interiors of the restaurants in our area aren't usually spacious but we were actually amazes by how nice the interior of the restaurant. Food was amazing. The pepporoni pizza was cooked in wood oven & has the perfect balance between salty & sweet. They were very generous with the pepporoni too. The vegetarian pizza tasted so fresh & flavourful, the pesto wasn't overpowering anything & the vegetables are perfectly cooked. Funghi pasta was probably the best funghi pasta we've ever had. Our server specifically said they cook it Italian style, so there's really not much cream but the flavour would still be there. For someone who gets tired of cream-heavy food, this was probably the most perfectly cooked funghi pasta for us. Service was perfect. Our server wasn't really on our face the whole time, would check up on us to ask how the food is so far & then later on pour us water. We didn't really need to ask for more things as we felt like everything was provided. Honestly, we don't speak French so it was nice being served nicely still despite the language barrier. The overall vibe of the restaurant was definitely a 10/10. It's so sad that they don't have a branch in Toronto but we would definitely go back when we get the chance! 🤍
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this visit was truly disappointing. The service was painfully slow & inattentive - we waited nearly twenty minutes before anyone even brought water. The music extremely loud. For an Italian restaurant, I expected much more care & authenticity. Between the poor service & the mild, uninspired food, it just wasn't worth the price. Sadly, I won't be coming back.
Retro charm, sourdough pizzas that slap, & cocktails with serious spritz cred. Feels like your Italian grandma opened a pizzeria & invited the cool kids. Busy, lovely, & worth the carbs.
Pro tip: fried olives.
Cost-effective Italian leopard print pizza?the pores on the outside of pizza are like the diamond pattern on a charcoal grilled steak, which is the source of aroma & taste.
High-quality meat + high-quality dough creates a delicious pizza that makes you want more, enough to even finish the sides.
I recommend , you make the decision!
Superb Little Italian!!!
(I always try to be fair in my reviews & don't criticise unless necessary & only praise if it truly deserves it. This restaurant falls into the latter category).
We found this restaurant by chance on our arrival in Montreal as we dashed in from the rain. Lovely welcome. Two very waiters who told us about the wine & beers. We both had a pizza - really thin & lovely dough. Delicious!!!
Then, my husband - a pudding expert - had a tiramisu. Said it was the best he had ever had. I was allowed a couple of spoonfuls & I entirely agree - exquisite!
The lady owner's little twin girls were in for part of the evening wiping down tables, filling up water - they were absolute stars!!!
A fabulous restaurant which deserves 5* for simply everything. Thank you very much a super start to our stay in Montreal xxx
Recently opened in mid May & needed work at that time, but may have sorted things out. Professionally decorated but somehow cold & confused decor. Wait staff attentive to the point of brisk, though there were few customers to serve at the time. Very short menu of standard, uninteresting'Italian' dishes. Stingy wine servings. Prices somewhat high for food this ordinary, which is not surprising in a high tourist area. Gnocchi was cool, stodgy & bland. Pizza was good.
