Nice place & the staff is super nice & friendly.
Had dinner here for new years even & everything went smoothly.

I've had pizza at many places in the city & this is definitely not my favourite. The pizza is good, but the dough doesn't stand out as well as the toppings.

We had the pepperoni & fungi pizzas. The pepperoni amount is generous & the fungi is not bad. However, the dough isn't up to par & the pizza doesn't stand out in any way. Just for the price & I was expecting more, compared to some other places I've tried in the city.

The bolognese pasta was very underwhelming. The tomato sauce was basic, not a lot of meat. I wouldn't recommend.

If I'm in the area & I crave a quick pizza, I might grab one, other than that, I wouldn't come back here.

The pizza & pasta are pretty mid. However very cute space & good service!

J'ai mangé au Balboa récemment & j'ai vraiment passé un super moment. Le lieu est moderne, joli & vraiment agréable. L'équipe est sympa, souriante, & le service est rapide. L'ambiance est détendue, parfaite autant pour un repas entre amis que pour un dîner en couple. Franchement, je recommande à 100 % : on y mange bien & on s'y sent bien.

J'ai été agréablement surprise par mon expérience au Balboa. L'ambiance est très agréable, l'intérieur du restaurant est très vintage & accueillant. De plus, le serveur Nic a été en mesure de me donner un très bon service & il m'a également conseillé sur les plats & je n'ai eu aucun regret. Je recommande ce restaurant & je vous souhaite d'avoir la chance de vous faire servir par Nic.

Nous avons souhaité découvrir ce petit restaurant au vieux Montréal.

Premier point positif : la nourriture est très bonne ! Les pizzas étaient délicieuses, les pâtes au ragu également, rien à redire là-dessus ! Sans oublier la portion de tiramisu vraiment généreuse.

Cependant, le service était très long. Nous avons attendu nos boissons facile 20 min, les plats au moins 30 min. On a demandé à emporter les restes de nos pizzas mais ils ne sont jamais revenus.

& attention ! Nous avons dû payer un pourboire après taxes alors qu'il doit être mis AVANT taxes (selon la loi 72 du Québec). Quand nous l'avons mentionné, nous avons eu une explication très bancale. Bref, ce n'est pas très honnête.

C'est dommage, car l'ambiance du restaurant (déco, musique, lumière) & la nourriture était super !! Sans le service, on le recommande largement !

Very cute restaurant! The food was amazing, we got the'Antipasto Misto' to share & it was incredible!! The fried olives were the best part. We also very much enjoyed the pizzas, I recommend adding some chili oil for an extra kick. Overall good service

Vraiment une excellente adresse !
Dès l'accueil, on se sent bien reçu : le service est attentionné, le personnel souriant & efficace. Côté assiettes, c'est un vrai régal : les arancini sont croustillants & savoureux, la salade composée est ultra fraîche & pleine de goût. On sent vraiment la qualité des produits, & ça fait toute la différence. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésiter !

Cost-effective Italian leopard print pizza?the pores on the outside of pizza are like the diamond pattern on a charcoal grilled steak, which is the source of aroma & taste.
High-quality meat + high-quality dough creates a delicious pizza that makes you want more, enough to even finish the sides.

Great experience overall. Staff was very friendly. New restaurants, but everything was on point. The lady who was our server was excellent, & the food was phenomenal. I'd highly recommend checking this place out.
