Really loved Au Coin. From the moment you walk in, it has that trendy Montreal buzz - great music, beautiful open kitchen, stylish design, & a warm but lively atmosphere.

The food was excellent. The soft scrambled eggs with ham, cheese, bread, butter & jam felt simple but perfectly done. The yogurt bowl was fresh & beautifully presented, with fruit, granola, honey & chocolate. The potatoes with sauce were rich, crispy & full of flavour, & the salads looked incredibly fresh & generous. Even the coffee was excellent.

What stood out most was the plating & attention to detail - honestly, it was surreal. Nothing felt random. Every dish looked carefully thought out, but still effortless & natural. The service had the same feeling: friendly, professional & relaxed.

Definitely a 10/10. Great food, great ambiance, & a place I'm already looking forward to going back to.

It's refreshing to see a new restaurant that values customer service as much as quality of food & interior design. Smiling service people unafraid of eye contact & genuine chill vibes Is surprisingly rare these days. I had the anchovie tomato toast with soup & quite literally was blown by the flavor n fullness of the squash soup. What I love is the obvious attention to detail without waiters feeling the need to explain everything-this tells me they know their value & trust I'll see it too. Extra points for being able to use my laptop while eating :) looking forward to going back!

My favorite lunch spot while visiting Montreal! Feels very cozy & homey. The music is always pleasant & the design of the space pairs perfectly with the food & drink. All the staff were so kind & welcoming, & the food was delicious. I had a pepperoni pizza, the Madeleine dessert (heavenly), & an iced cortado. Will hopefully be back!
