Waiter walked over with our pizza 90 seconds after we ordered it & absolutely insisted it just came out of the oven. Cold crust & congealed cheese. All the right ingredients, ruined by bad service.
We ordered the pizza & the crust was very soft & delicious. We really enjoyed the pizza. The only downside is it was a cool evening & the doors keep opening & closing to serve people who are brave enough & dressed for sitting outside so we got a little chilled.
Amazing food. Ended up going two times to enjoy the pizza. It honestly was the closest to eating pizza from Italy. The crust is amazing. The burrata was extremely flavourful, farm fresh tomatoes, so delicious.
So nice to have a restaurant at Tremblant that doesn't just sell burgers & fries.
An outstanding dining experience! The pizza was absolutely delicious, perfectly baked crust, fresh & flavorful toppings, truly a treat. The service was just as impressive: warm, attentive, & efficient. You can tell the team is passionate about what they do. Definitely a place worth recommending. I'll gladly come back!
We had a late dinner & sat outside on the patio. It's a large restaurant with plenty of seating outside. Service was meh - seemed as if they needed another server because ours was busy with a lot of tables. Pizzas were delicious with crispy crust. Pasta was overcooked & a bit burned on the bottom.
This place is a tourist trap . We were a group of 7 for dinner the kids wanted pasta & pizza so we came here. As a fan of pizza & pasta myself having eaten in many excellent Italian restos I can say objectively that A Mano is probably one of the worst & here's why 1) the portion of pasta was flat out insulting considering the high cost. Now I understand that haute cuisine doesn't focus on quantity, rather quality is the aim. Well, the quality was that comparable to chef boyardee & I'm not even kidding. We ordered plain old spaghetti Bolognese with meatballs. The tomato sauce tasted like it came out of a can & the meatballs were very salty & I like salt. Not to mention they were very firm not like the spaghetti noodles which were the furthest thing from al dente. They tasted gummy... First time experiencing that. Nuf said about the pasta. 2) The lamb was poorly cooked the person who ate it ended up with a nice big raw piece of garlic in her mouth which tells me one thing. There was no marination of the lamb prior to cooking it. The garlic was thrown in ( raw) as an attempt to flavor the meat. Attempt failed. 3)The pizzas were okay. Not great, not particularly good either. The teens enjoyed the pepperoni & cheese pizzas they had. Fair enough 4)The adults had the americana I believe. They barely had enough sauce on them & the toppings were scarce. The crust was good but again over 30$ a pizza, you need to do better. A lot better. 5) the Ceasar salad was kinda mushy. Lettuce was on the soft side & had way too much dressing on it. Instead the focus was a piece of grilled lemon on the side , an attempt at art... But this resto staple which can be so easily executed failed miserably Our waiter was ok, nothing less nothing more. I don't recall him returning to the table after a few bites to ask us how we were enjoying our food . In the end we left the place feeling like a bunch of suckers who just got duped. I don't mind paying for food but this was painful I honestly don't get why there are many good reviews. Next time we go to tremblant we will pack our lunch.
Literally the best pizza in the village. We also tried a few others. Truly European style dough & crust! Extremely flavourful!
I never post reviews, yet I felt I should on this one. We have been coming up to tremblant multiple times a year for over 20 years. We have always had a hard time finding quality food with great service. A Mano was great food, well priced & excellent service, David thank you! Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed. For reference we had the pizza - the crust omg!, arancini, calamari, & salad. Do it!
Overall, it was well run & good food. I went in around 6:30, it was busy but they took our name & gave us an accurate estimate on the waiting time, we didn't have to wait at the restaurant. We went back after the estimated 45 minutes wait. We ordered calamari & the Americana pizza for appetizer; risotto & fusili genovese for our mains. The pizza was the star of the dinner, it was tasty, great flavours & good crust. The service was good too, considering how busy they were. The food & drinks came at a good pace. The waiter came to our table a few times to fill our water & check on us. This is much better compared to previous day's disappointing service at La Forge.
Wood oven pizzas made right! The ingredients are so fresh & the crust is perfection! Definitely more filling than we thought! My husband & I shared a pizza but could not finish our second slice! We also had the meatballs, potatoes & calamari for the table!
Food was a a mix of bland & flavourful. I got the Bruschetta & Vodka Fettuccini. Bruschetta had lovely fresh tomatoes but was lacking any sort of flavour to the dish. The Fettuccini honestly just tasted like pasta water, however I had some bites of a few other dishes - Gnocchi & Pistachio pastas, they were delicious!! My partner ordered Carpaccio which was amazing, highly recommend. The desserts were also great, but the cheesecake crust almost had to be chiseled off.
The entire party we were dining with was French speaking with the exception of myself. I felt a very distinct shift in attitude/energy towards my service versus my counterparts, despite my best efforts at ordering as much in French as I could to hopefully lighten the mood. This was very disappointing & made me feel out of place, an inconvenience.
All in all we enjoyed the experience, drinks, atmosphere. I do recommend checking it out at least once!
We ate at 5pm, before the dinner rush. Got a table easily. Server was friendly, but it was a little difficult to get his attention. We ordered a salad with caramelized hazelnut, it was delicious. My husband had a futility genovese, which was good. I had a linguine with octopus black ink & lobster. It was delicious, but I wished there were more! The presentation was lovely! Our kids had a kid sized cheese pizza & a regular size Margherita pizza. The pizzas were fresh, the crust was thick & the rest was thin crust. You can ask for spicy olive oil from the server to dip the crust in. Overall atmosphere was very good too! The washroom was very pretty. Loved their coloured sinks & the gold handles/faucets! Would definitely recommend this restaurant!
