C'était meilleur quand la grand maman travaillait il a quelque années mes toujours le meilleur de l'île de Montréal je fais des détour de quelque kilomètres pour avoir cette satisfaction évidemment quelque fois c'est pas sa grosse coche mes un gros général qui veaux le détour ca fais plus de neuf années consécutive que je vous adore merci beaucoup changer rien mis a part de retrouver la recette originale de mamie svp la sauce me manque énormément elle était là meilleur de tout les 200klm environ !!!

Salumi Vino is a real standout as everything is so authentic and well-made. The meatballs are outstanding, and the pasta is incredibly fresh. The sauce is just perfect, and the gnocchi and ravioli were both phenomenal. The lobster pasta is to die for, and the tomahawk steak is mouthwatering. It's such a cozy spot, perfect for sharing dishes or a special night out. The service is warm, and you really feel at home. If you're looking for something truly special in Old Montreal, this is the place. Also to mention, if you fall in love with the tomato sauce like I did, you can grab a few bottles (they are available for purchase at the restaurant). This spot is a five minute walk from the metro in case you wish to give driving a rest!

Chez Alexandre is a great, little brasserie for a quick drink. Since I didn't order food, I will only speak to my experience sitting at the small bar. First, the bartender was very welcoming and kind. Second, it was a great place to practice my French, and she was very polite and encouraging. I enjoyed my first visit so much that I went back a second time before heading to McLean's Pub down Rue Peel (please see my review and photos). Merci beaucoup!

Dans l'ensemble, nous avons apprécié notre repas. Un peu déçue quant à l'entrée de salade avec supplément de mimolette. Il était si minime que je ne comprends pas qu'on ait pu l'ajouter en supplément. De plus, la salade était peu goûteuse et il manquait de vinaigrette. Par contre, le reste du repas était très délicieux!

Les serviettes de table sentent le'fleecy' à plein nez. Pas au resto. J'ai demandé des serviettes de papier. Avis à la personne qui les lave: NE PLUS UTILISER D'ASSOUPLISSANT LIQUIDE.... PITIÉ 😖

What started as a search for a nice dinner spot turned into one of the highlights of our 2-day visit to Montreal. I was craving tapas and Pintxos came up in the results. We were delighted with our bar seats which gave us a front row seat to see chef Alsonso at work and to meet visitors from Austria. The sangria was refreshing and the food was outstanding - smoked salmon with beets, scallops, pork cheek, mussels. Alonso, Eric and the whole team were personable and professional and worked seamlessly together to ensure we had a great experience and a fantastic meal. We liked it so much that we returned for lunch the next day!

Définitivement la fin pour ce resto qui était notre préféré pour de chinois ! Certainement des nouveaux proprio ou chefs!! Eggrolls sèche, trop cuit et industriel! Boules au poulet pâteux au max, et le reste pas mieux! C'était la dernière fois. Je ne recommande pas du tout!

A disappointing experience. Do not go. Gave our group the wrong drink, one person the wrong meal, and the other person no meal until we asked, and the tea refill took 50 mins. Their POS must not have seat numbers which caused the wrong people being handed wrong things and having to switch. It took a while to get utensils and the food got cold. Bathroom did not have soap. Food portions were small and very unfortunately not filling. I had 3 things and am still hungry. If we were going to wait so much for brunch that is not filling I'd just cook at home and host. Unfortunately disappointing for an Iranian restaurant :((( I was very excited to bring my friends here.

Expérience extrêmement décevante. Nous étions un groupe de 7 personnes et on a refusé de nous asseoir simplement parce qu'ils ne voulaient pas prendre le temps de nettoyer et de préparer des tables afin de pouvoir nous accommoder. Le pire dans tout ça, c'est l'attitude du personnel. Une jeune serveuse riait de nous avec ses collègues alors que nous étions devant eux. C'était vraiment humiliant et extrêmement gênant. Je comprends qu'un restaurant puisse être occupé, mais refuser un groupe de clients parce qu'on ne veut pas faire l'effort de préparer les tables, puis se moquer des clients devant eux, c'est tout simplement irrespectueux et non professionnel. Honnêtement, quelle honte pour le restaurant. Nous sommes repartis très déçus et nous ne reviendrons certainement pas.

I would have loved to give it 5 stars as it is my kids favorite place. However unfortunately the personel doesnt reflect a 5 star service. Today we came at 11 we stayed 3 hours they did not bother to go once check the oven to see if the peice missing was available. I felt I am talking a robot. She said on the bill it is written after 5pm. Zero empathy. So sad to see such a beautiful business ruined by a bad attitude of an employee.

We had a fantastic experience at this place; I will definitely be back. The espresso was perfection, friendly bartender-barista and the place is neat and welcoming. No bullshit, no frills, perfect espresso and friendly vibe. Recommended. Update (September 19th 2026): The owner is extremely kind, coffee always flawless but I experienced something very unpleasant with the main bartender/waitress. I wanted to pick a copy of the local Italian paper and she gave me dirty looks, said in a nasty tone''It's for Customers Only'' when I am a REGULAR customer. The nastiness was seriously not necessary and rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe this person had a bad day.

There was a group of parents sitting together at tables and about 12 children between the ages of 5 to 12 sitting at another group of tables. The yelling and loud commotion and constant moving around the restaurant was very annoying to the other patrons. We were three regular couples and had a hard time understanding eachother speak. These parents had no respect for the other costumers in the restaurant. We had children and grandchildren come to the restaurants with us and never would we have tolerated them bothering those who want to eat in peace. Macdonald's and Burger King are the restaurants for these unruly parents and children where they have places for them to play.

2026-09: Kevin the owner was so accommodating in allowing a group of us to gather last night. We ended up being 17 of us I believe and we had a fantastic time. Our waiter, Alex, was a charm serving us with a great smile, quickly responding to our needs and so thank you to the whole team for making us feel welcomed. 🤗 2024: Great service, food is really good and atmosphere was warm by the cute fireplace!
