We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Salumi Vino-easily one of our favorite spots in Old Montreal.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm & authentically Italian. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, & genuinely helpful, making us feel right at home.
We started with the Bacio, Burrata, & fried zucchini-each dish was outstanding. The tomato dipping sauce deserves a special mention… it was truly out of this world & elevated everything on the table.
For mains, we had the ravioli & gnocchi, & both were absolutely amazing-fresh, flavorful, & perfectly executed. You can really taste the authenticity & care in every bite.
The wine recommendation was spot on & paired beautifully with our meal, adding even more to the overall experience.
This place delivers on every level: food, service, & atmosphere. We love this spot & will definitely be back. Highly recommended if you're looking for a true Italian dining experience in Old Montreal.
-Initially I wasn't impressed with the pasta but I guess it was too hot for my taste buds LoL. After 5 min, I loved it, enjoyed it, & I even scraped the plate clean! Portion size was perfect for me, that dinner was my first meal of the day!
- For dessert, I had the chocolate moose, I loved it
- The service is nice. The waitress was lovely & smiling the whole time.
- overall excellent , will probably come again if I come back to Montreal
- no reservations was required, i guess for large groups it's better to reserve

Le service était impeccable, fait directement par le propriétaire, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus personnalisée & agréable. L'ambiance est chaleureuse & conviviale, on s'y sent vraiment bien.
Les repas étaient excellents, savoureux & bien présentés. On voit que tout est fait avec soin & passion.
Je recommande sans hésiter, nous allons certainement y retourne

I had such an amazing experience at Salumi Vino. This is honestly the only restaurant I go to for truly authentic Italian cuisine-the quality & flavours are just unmatched. The pasta dishes are absolutely incredible-fresh, rich, & full of flavour. The beef carpaccio was a standout, with perfectly thin slices of filet mignon that just melted in your mouth. For my main, I had the beef short rib, & it was unforgettable. It was so tender it fell right off the bone, & the sauce was completely to die for. On top of the food, the ambiance is always amazing-warm, inviting, & the perfect place to relax & enjoy a great meal. I highly recommend it!
Nous avons célébré la Saint-Valentin au Salumi Vino & avons passé une excellente soirée.
L'accueil & le service étaient très agréables, le personnel attentif & chaleureux. L'ambiance & le décor du restaurant ajoutent un vrai charme à l'expérience, & la nourriture était tout simplement délicieuse avec son menu spécial St-Valentin. Nous avons été agréablement surpris de pouvoir savourer un excellent vin californien.
Le seul petit bémol a été le temps d'attente pour être servis, mais on comprend que c'était une journée très achalandée.
Une belle adresse à retenir !

Expérience incroyable autant sur le plan culinaire (cuisine italienne authentique excellente & très généreuse dans les portions) avec qualité du service également excellente. Avons fait un souper de groupe pour 16 personnes à Noël & ce fut une soirée mémorable avec plusieurs personnes qui voulaient retourner au restau avec leur famille ou pour des festivités de groupe. J'adore la cuisine de ce restaurant qui est excellente , très généreuse, authentique, à prix abordable avec un service de qualité, humain & sincère.

Wow. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Small intimate & definitely authentic. I think this was the best pasta I have ever had. We, my daughter & I , had the Ceviche & zucchini florettes as appetizers & then the lobster pasta & I have to say that was the best pasta I've ever had in my life!!! The service was excellent. Mario, the owner attended to us himself & took his time & helped me pick the wine that I would like best. I am definitely going to return here & recommend this place to my friends & family.

I recently hosted our Department of Plastic Surgery Christmas dinner at Salumi Vino-a group of nearly 50 colleagues-& the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Without a single exception, every person in attendance commented on the warmth, coziness, & intimate atmosphere of the restaurant.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the welcoming spirit & genuine hospitality of Mario, whose presence truly elevates the experience. His passion for the restaurant is palpable, & it sets the tone for an unforgettable evening.
The food was exceptionally authentic, beautifully prepared, & absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, & every dish felt crafted with care. Several guests even remarked that it was the best Italian cuisine they've had in Montreal.

Ce restaurant mérite toutes ces belles éloges. Très bien accueilli par toute l'équipe. Le service était rapide & chaleureux. J'ai eu la chance de goûter à leur tout nouveau plats. Raviolis sauce Cacio e pepe. Il était tout simplement délicieux. C'étais les meilleurs raviolis que j'ai mangé.
