Super delicious, beautiful experience, worth it 100%, free ice cream, I loved this restaurant. I highly recommend. Also Halal certified.
Good when they first opened. Now, it's horrible. First, tables are so close together that it's so likely a server will spill hot soup all over you. There was a very rude server, tall black dude who refused to serve us. He was dismissive and made weird comments. They should hire better people. Wouldnt come back again. A shame because the food is ok.
Terrible place, don't waste your time and money. They've raised their prices so much that it's not worth it anymore, and they added so many tables you can barely walk in there. Greedy business. The service is also terrible. We had to wait so long to get seated even though we were on the waitlist, and again waited so long for the food. The staff are also horrible. It says unlimited ice cream but when we asked for seconds the server the tall black guy gave me an attitude saying'really? again?' and never brought it for us waiting so long until we left.
AMAZING i looove it so much! The purple ice cream was so so good !
This place is so cozy! Once you try it, you keep coming back again and again! Perfect location near McGill metro station.
I am always greeted immediately when I walk in, which makes a huge difference. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel like a regular every time.
It's an OG asian shop. There's a kid studying.
Best tiffin service either monthly or fro Truck driver. For tiffin service they especially prepare homestyle food. I would definitely recommend Shudh Ratan Restaurant.
I think this is a different owner. Very very basic menu, atmosphere poor with cut up chairs, broken down fountain (or aquarium) missing utensils on the table. I could pull this off at home definitely not a treat for myself.
Had a great experience here! The portion sizes are really generous, and the food was satisfying and well-prepared. You definitely leave feeling full. I'd highly recommend this place and will be coming back again!
Food was delicious, must try for Dosa lovers
This place didn't just serve food-it served memories. The authentic South Indian taste took me straight back home. Truly special experience. I've been missing the taste of real South Indian food, and this restaurant brought it all back. Every bite felt like home-authentic, flavorful, and comforting. Highly recommend!❤?
The food is always good and service is quick and easy . The owner is very friendly and so is the staff .
Absolutely fantastic spot! Do not hesitate to go and eat there. Staff is awesome and food is always clean. I'd give them 10 stars out of 5 if I could.
We wanted to have a nice dinner with kids, instead we waited 1,5 hours for our pizza, and kids became very tired. The restaurant was not even full
Great place for kids the bread bar is so cool! The quality of the food was great!
Excellent restaurant at Marché Central. Impeccable service, very attentive and professional staff. The food is delicious, well presented, and portions are generous. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Highly recommended.
I don't know how someone would consider this to be'Italian food'. I went there with a Vietnamese friend and we both concluded that it's cultural food for white people 😏 no offense. Expensive for what ?! I'm sure their overhead is very high- but 30$ for a mediocre tiny pasta…. Is just sad. I'd never take someone with a big appetite there. I guess that's what the bread bar is for. Cute decor though you can tell they spent a lot of money on the place. I would definitely go back for the cocktails at the bar and dessert though
I had such an amazing time at Marmo. The staff made me feel so welcome, and the food completely exceeded my expectations. Everything was just perfect. I'll definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know.
Such a cute and classy restaurant!! From the waiter to the food everything was pretty good!! Will be back thank you!
Was my first time eating there and I absolutely loved this new restaurant I ordered a steak and it was soo good I highly recommend this place .
I had such a great experience at Marmo! I ordered the lamb chops and they were absolutely delicious 🤤 perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. You can really tell the quality of the ingredients. I also tried their matcha latte and it was 🤩 rich, smooth, and so flavourful. Everything from the food to the overall vibe made it a spot I'd definitely come back to. Highly recommend! 💯 💯
AMAZING !!!!!! highly recommend. Lovely restaurant, awesome service and delicious food.
try out this wonderful restaurant, you won't regret it. So far one of the best restaurants in montreal, my family loved it also
My boys surprised me with some Haitian food for my birthday. We were so full we couldn't even finish it all and had to take the leftovers home. I still had enough to share with my husband when I got home and for the next day. The food was absolutely amazing and the portions were more than enough. The staff were super friendly.
Update: Nos singeries???!!
Never eat here, worst food I've ever had the displeasure of eating, food tasted like chemicals and had an upset digestive track for a week
I really don't understand those positive comments here. When I got into this place, stand a big guy behind the counter who look at me with a VERY DIRTY LOOK ! No welcome, no smile just a YES, WHAT DO YOU WANT ? I kept looking at the menu and he still looked at me as if he was targeting me with two pistles. I asked if he still have beets and he said NO ! There was another guy behind the counter that began to look at his cellphone and he didn't take care of me. He was of no help. Then I asked the guy WHY he was looking at me with such a dirty look an he began to laught at me and said : Feel well Madame ? As if I was one of those mentally ill customers. So, I wandered when we gonna stop make a living for those people. There are many libanese restaurants in the surrounding. Then I left the place without ordering something. Period.
This was my first Syrian brunch, and it happened on one of those quiet girls' days that stay with you. Just me, my aunt, and my cousin, nowhere to rush off to, choosing a table and choosing each other. We went to Leymoun, tucked along Rue Dudemaine. Walking in felt less like entering a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone's home. No waiting, no hovering, no pressure to order fast. Just space to settle in, sip slowly, and talk as long as we wanted. Brunch started the way it should. With tea. A big pot of black tea, steeped in-house and ready by the time brunch rolls around. Bold, fragrant, grounding. The kind of tea that invites you to pour another cup without thinking. What we shared felt designed for lingering. Petit Déjeuner Platter A generous spread of Syrian breakfast staples meant to be passed around. Creamy dips, salty cheeses, crunchy vegetables, warm falafel, juicy green olives, and a homemade fig jam that honestly tasted like sunshine. Pomegranate seeds scattered across the plate added little bursts of brightness that kept pulling me back in. Fatté Hummus au Shawarma This was the favorite at the table. Creamy hummus layered with yogurt and tahini, topped with tender chicken shawarma, grilled almonds, and crispy pita chips. Rich, tangy, crunchy, spiced. Every bite felt complete. Shakshuka Comfort in its simplest form. Soft feta-topped eggs, sautéed onions, tomatoes, and peppers. Nothing fussy. Just satisfying and warm. Fried Halloumi with Leymoun Sauce The surprise star. Salty, golden halloumi paired with their signature za'atar, honey, and sesame sauce. Sweet, salty, herby, a little sticky, and very addictive. Everything tasted thoughtful. Like it was made with the intention of being shared. Plates kept moving, conversations kept unfolding, and time quietly stretched. This is the kind of brunch that doesn't rush you out the door. It turns into an afternoon without asking. Foxy Tip: Come with people you love, order for the table, and don't watch the clock. Leymoun is about slowing down and savoring more than just the food. The stories matter too. I share local gems and cultural eats over on ig @foxyappetite and TikTok @foxy.appetite, and this one truly earned its place. This meal was comped as part of a media preview. Sharing my honest thoughts above.
