The staff is lovely, the pianist is fantastic, the place is cozy, even the path to the washroom is charming. The barszcz, cabbage rolls, schnitzels, krokiety, & pierogi are great, but the star is the placki for me. The desserts are a must-try, both the apple crumble & the cheese filled crepe! However, be warned that there are not many choices for vegetarians.Voir plus
Really good restaurant! Authentic Polish cuisine accompanied by fantastic service. Really enjoyed the live piano music on Sunday night.Voir plus
Not reserving a table ahead of time on the day of the eclipse was definitely a mistake on my end but from the moment I walked in, Kacper truly went above & beyond to make sure my husband & I had a great meal & a memorable final night in Montreal. I do not have enough great things to say about Kacper & the service at stash cafe. We can't wait to visit Montreal again & come back to eat here.Voir plus
It was my first time having Polish food at a restaurant. Surprisingly it was very delicious--who knew simple food like Perogies could be packed with flavor? Atmosphere & service were excellent as well. I'll be back.Voir plus
The best pierogis & beet salad. Absolutely perfect for lunch.Voir plus
Ate here in two different nights. Weekends are definitely busier, recommending to have reservations. Great flavors in their dishes & the staffs were friendly & hospitable.Voir plus
Great dinner with live piano. Polish food was solid. We had the schnitzel & sole for mains. Ambiance was busy but not crowded. Good value.Voir plus
You write that you are a restaurant of Polish cuisine. I chose between Borscht & Zhurek, I chose Zhurek (because I can cook Borscht myself). What can I say about your Zhurek - people, don't be lazy & don't deceive others, because it's not Zhurek, but just coloured water with sausages. & where are the eggs & mushrooms? Some even serve it with mashed potatoes (it's a bomb!). The Poles treated me to Zhurek & I was delighted. & many people know that Polish cuisine is quite hearty, saturated with mega large portions. It's scary to imagine, but at the same time it's interesting, what kind of Ukrainian Borscht do you have? I also ordered dumplings (Pierogi), mix. I must note that the dumplings (Pierogi) were delicious.

Everything is great about this place! Starting with food & finishing with the atmosphere. I especially recommend it to people who like Slavic food. Order "Debutant" because it is a mix of almost everything on the menu.Voir plus
Easily the best meal we had during our visit to Montreal, I would come back to the city just for the ogorkowa soup. It's hard to find good Polish food & this was top tier!Voir plus
it's the real deal Polish food. Super cozy Old port vibe. Great pianist in the background. Fun place. Great romantic spot. Excellent no pressure service staff. GoVoir plus
I really liked the romantic & intimate vibe of this place. We visited it when there was a live piano music. Unfortunately can't say it was the best service or the best food. We didn't had a reservation & waiters tried to harry us up all the time. & food came cold & was a bit disappointed with golubci ( spring rolls) & borscht. But probably would like to go back one day because pierogi which my friend ordered was not bad at all & choice in menu is decentVoir plus
