I was excited when my friend Farzy invited me to check out this new seafood spot, and it honestly didn't disappoint. We started with appetizers of course… the fried mussels were cheesy, crispy, and full of flavor, and the dynamite shrimp had a great balance of crunch, spice, sweetness, and sauce. Both were easy favorites and the kind of bites you find yourself reaching for again. The seafood boil itself was juicy and satisfying. The crab, lobster, shrimp, and potatoes were all well cooked and seasoned, and the sauces really elevated the dish. I tried both the coconut curry and their signature sauce, which you can adjust to your preferred spice level. The coconut curry was especially memorable and even came served in a coconut shell, which added a nice presentation touch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Comfortable seating, thoughtful decor, and genuinely kind staff gave the space a strong family-owned feel. Visiting during the holiday season made it feel extra cozy with festive touches and relaxed music. A lovely addition to the Laval seafood scene and a spot worth discovering.
Beau moment en amoureux installés au bar! Excellent accueil et service irréprochable! La nourriture de grande qualité cuisiné avec brio! Délicieux cocktails réalisés à la perfection. À bientôt
It's usually so much better! We aren't weekly regulars, more like three or four times a year, with the family, twice a year in a big group, but this was by far a surprising disappointment. Went New Years Eve before the gala. The steaks across the board were tough and charred. Same atmosphere, same awesome service, great drinks, the bisque and wedge salad were all great. But the filets, sirloin and rib steak were all tough. Overbooked? Rushed? New chef? I dunno, but the five of us spent 1200.00 for dinners. At over 100.00 per steak, it should have been better. We won't go back for a while. The owner said he/she didn't see my name on the reservation list but didn't address my concerns. That's because the reservation was made by my partner, in her name.
Food was great and we had a great evening thanks to the excellent service by Ante!
On a été servis par Alistair, toujours un plaisir d'aller à l'auberge, la nourriture est incroyablement bonne, l'ambiance de feu et le service impeccable.
Concept is great but service at this location is meh. It's very crowded especially during peak times on the weekends. The staff covering the tables to me feel overwhelmed and aren't in the headspace as a result to be friendly with clients. Nonetheless, overall I always enjoy my time here 😊
The chicken was very good. We took the family meal. Which came with a whole chicken, fries ,coleslaw and gravy. Excellent value for the price.
Back again with friends, and Jason gave us the best service! Great place for a gathering
