W&G est un grand restaurant méditerranéen sur deux étages avec deux terrasses ouvertes pour l’été. Un grand bar central est le point d’attraction du rez-de-chaussée tandis que la cuisine ouverte complète avec le four à pizza de brique est l'attraction principale en haut. W&G est reconnu pour ses pâtes fraîches, faites maison, ses délicieuses sauces traditionnelles et sa pizza à croûte mince. Il y a aussi une copieuse sélection de steaks, de veau et de fruits de mer. W&G sert le dîner et le souper chaque jour avec une table d'hôte disponible quotidiennement de $12 à $16 pour le dîner et commençant à 23 $ pour le souper. De plus, une sélection de pizza et de pâtes est disponible pour 10$ de 11h Jusqu'à 15h et après 22h chaque jour pour les soupers de fin de soirée après le hockey, un concert en ville ou avant la tournée des bars! W&G peut aussi accueillir des groupes et pouvons planifier votre party que vous soyez 10 personnes ou 300 personnes! Du lundi au vendredi, les clients peuvent profiter du 5 à 7 alors que les consommations sont 2 pour 1 dès 16h jusqu’à 20h. Pour poursuivre la soirée et accompagner votre repas, vous pourrez choisir de notre sélection de vins des plus élaborée en ville, composée d’importations privées aussi bien que des choix abordables. L’objectif est toujours de s’amuser au W&G, avec un DJ qui met tout pour raviver l’atmosphère les fins de semaines et pour les événements spéciaux. Il y a toujours de l’action au W&G!
Wienstein & Gavino's est souvent décrit comme une adresse italienne incontournable du centre-ville, où les pâtes fraîches et les pizzas généreuses impressionnent par leur saveur et leur finesse. This place is incredible. Jade served us & was spectacular. She was very attentive, made great recommendations & super personable. The pasta was made fresh & the portions are HUGE. We sat on the patio & the atmosphere was great. 100% recommend.

The food was okay-nothing terrible, but also nothing memorable. Given the price, I expected better quality & more attention to detail.
What really affected the experience was how the service was handled. I did leave a tip, though less than the usual 15%. Instead of politely asking if something had been wrong or opening a respectful conversation, the waiter reacted in a way that felt confrontational & unprofessional.
I understand that tipping is customary in Canada-typically 15-20% pre-tax, & around 10-15% in Montreal-but it's not legally required. Recent changes in Quebec (Bill 72) even clarified that tip suggestions must be based on pre-tax amounts to ensure fairness, not to enforce gratuities.
A respectful approach would have gone a long way. Sadly, the tone of the interaction overshadowed the rest of the meal. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant based on the overall experience.
All the food was delicious. We went with friends to celebrate a birthday, & the experience was great. At the end, they surprised us with a slice of chocolate cake, which was a really nice. The staff knows how to treat their customers. I ordered the'Pollo alla Parmigiana', a pasta dish with chicken, & I highly recommend it.
Would absolutely recommend W&G for your Italian cravings. We enjoyed our outdoor seating & loved the fact that they were able to get our order just the way we wanted it! Happy with our pasta & gelato experience in Montreal 😋
Le resto m'a été référé par une amie. Au début j'étais un peu sceptique car je voulais un endroit plus calme & intime afin de célébrer notre 6e année de mariage mais finalement on y a été & nous avons tellement aimé.
En fait, nous avons tout aimé. L'ambiance, le repas & le service.
Le repas était simplement excellent. Le prix était abordable. La serveuse nous a simplement mis à l'aise, elle a fait du bon service. Malgré le bruit autour de nous, mon conjoint & moi avons pu discuter calmement.
Je recommande le resto, j'y retournerai prochainement avec des copines.
We came as a group of six & even though it was busy, the service was very attentive. Very spacious, nice decorated place. I personally recommend the bruschetta baguette & carbonara. A great spot if you're with a group & looking for good portions. Make sure to book tables before visit.

We had a long trip from Ontario to Quebec & Montreal. We were looking for a good Italian cuisine option. We came across this place & we decided to try it. & it was one for the best place we visited on this trip. The food was amazing, delicious & good portion size. The atmosphere & ambience is so good & esthetic. The vibe is amazing inside. I would also like to mention Luiz, he was our host. He was warm & really amazing & know his job to the best. He made our dinner special & he is a wonderful person & an amazing host. He made us laugh & it was fun. It was a lovely evening with lots of laughs & good memories. I would totally recommend this place.
Un énorme coup de coeur pour Wienstein & Gavino's! Dès notre arrivée, on a été accueillies avec le sourire par Fin, notre serveur, qui a été tout simplement exceptionnel du début à la fin. Gentil, attentionné, drôle & vraiment à l'écoute il a rendu notre soirée encore plus mémorable.
L'ambiance du resto est chic mais décontractée, avec une belle énergie. On s'est régalées! Les pâtes étaient fraîches, parfaitement assaisonnées, & les portions très généreuses. Mention spéciale au pain chaud avec l'huile d'olive; simple, mais addictif!
Franchement, c'est le genre d'endroit où tu veux revenir encore & encore. Merci à toute l'équipe, & surtout à Fin, qui a ajouté cette petite touche magique à notre expérience. Je recommande à 1000%!

They give free unlimited bread with free unlimited olive oil/vinegar dip before you even order. A sizeable pizza & a generous plate of pasta came to 50$.
Pasta was delicious, enough for 2 people honestly. Pizza was also very good but a little heavy. Pasta is definitely their specialty.
Ordered Rose pasta & they put grated cheese on top for you. Delicious.
Place was a little loud with music as they have a bar downstairs, but the lighting is very romantic & the servers are extremely attentionate & well-dressed.
Overall definitely recommended, pretty cheap for a restaurant of this caliber.
I brought my family here for dinner this past Saturday because of the advertised gluten-free pizza options. However, when we tried to order, we were informed there was no gluten-free crust available. This was very disappointing. On top of that, the service was rushed & impersonal-our server barely said more than a few words to us & came across as very cold. To make matters worse, four of us received our pasta dishes, but the fifth dish arrived 10 minutes later. Overall, the experience fell far short of expectations. I had high hopes for this place but, unfortunately, I cannot recommend it.
Interior layout is outrageously cool & beautiful. Service is good. Pizza was pretty darn delicious. For those with a gluten allergy: they have a gluten free dough, you could never tell the difference between regular & non-glutenous dough. Recommend for Italian food lovers!!
Had a great time at W&G. I went with a couple of friends & we had a blast. It is a very nice place with impeccable service. Without any kidding this is the fastest service I've ever had. Less than 10 minutes after we (4 people) had ordered our food, the plates were already in front of us. The server always made sure everything was as we wanted & they were patient & didn't make us feel rushed when the time to order came. The food itself was quite good. I didn't order anything other than my main dish & that was more than enough to satisfy my needs. Well seasoned & beautifully presented plates were served & enjoyed at our table. The menu wasn't overwhelming. There were a lot of choices but never too much & everything seemed tasteful. It wasn't cold inside the restaurant & the bathrooms were perfectly clean. There's a lot of space as well which can be interesting for larger groups, which they seemed perfectly comfortable having. My meal, the gamberi macchiato, ended up costing 33$ & I had no entree or special drink, so I would say it is an affordable place to dine in for most. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to eat great Italian cuisine.

A Cozy Post-Christmas Italian Treat We visited this charming Italian restaurant the day after Christmas & were blown away by the festive decor twinkling lights & a snowman gave it a magical vibe. The warm welcome & cozy ambiance were just perfect. Our server, Alley, made the experience even better with her helpful recommendations & cheerful attitude. We started with drinks: the Quebec Sour & Montreal Mule, both a 10/10. For appetizers, the bruschetta & caprese were fresh & flavorful. The mains, Risotto Fungi di Bosco & Pollo Alla Sofia, were perfectly cooked & delicious. Finally, the tiramisu was light & heavenly. Amazing food, fantastic service, & festive vibes highly recommend this spot!
We stopped for dinner tonight . We are vegetarians & even for us the menu offered a wide selection of pastas that are made from scratch. Mr. Louis was our server. One amazing gentleman & an asset to this organization! His recommendations were to the point, all dishes suggested by him were delicious & quite large servings too. If you are visiting Montreal city, you wouldn't go wrong in dining here. Reservations are recommended if it is weekends.
We are visiting from NYC & wanted some good Italian. Was excited when we found this place with homemade pasta. Pros - great service . Mussels were good Cons - 1. Homemade pasta texture was not at all what we are used to in nyc or Italy. Pasta was not elastic , it was like eating pasta made from chick peas or something, very grainy. We had linguini with pesto & the pesto was tasteless. Usually we find places too salty, first time I complain it was not salty or any taste at all. 2. We had Margherita pizza & it was basically a cheese pizza, not fresh mozzarella on it. It was soggy & could had used more taste also. Won't recommend this restaurant at all.
The atmosphere is lovely. Service was great. The patio upstairs & outside is beautiful. I definitely recommend the pastas. The pizza was not good at all.
