I really enjoyed this restaurant more than I was expecting especially at being on Crescent. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of our service & the food.
Not only were the servers super accommodating & kind every step of the way they served our group of 30 people with excellence. They were quick to serve us & make sure that we were comfortable, & they all seemed to actually enjoy their jobs, which is rare to see nowadays.
Our meals also came out really quickly, which was impressive again for such a large group. The quality of the food was great, everyone enjoyed their food & it was nice that even with such a large group, we were able to choose our own meals & drinks instead of having a set menu. The only small detail that I could think of was that some of the food was slightly under-seasoned, but that was a minor issue with salt & pepper being on the table tables.
I would highly recommend this restaurant if you just want to have some decently authentic Italian food that's fairly affordable & good or if you want to plan a group event.
Great ambiance! Knowledgeable wait staff. Friendly Host/Hostess. Salmon was perfection. Appetizers were tasty. My vongole was bland. I won't be ordering this menu item again. The linguine was cooked to perfection. I'll give the chef credit for that, but the vongole sauce, meh! The drinks were excellent, especially the Red Sangria. We ordered a Pitcher.
Great exceptional service, our host Adam, a professional young gentleman, very caring & welcoming. Fried calamari was amazing, drinks, out of this world, pizza, very fresh & loaded with ingredients & tasty, the only negative points, we expected wood crust cooked but obviously was made in a regular oven, the base was hard & too much oil. In general we were happy.

Walking into this Italian restaurant on a Monday night should've been simple: Game 3 of the Habs vs. Carolina playoff series was on, everyone was still talking about yesterday's Formula 1 race, & the vibe had all the ingredients for a great night out. Instead, it felt like being trapped in the warm-up lap before a complete mechanical failure.
The place wasn't even busy, which somehow made the chaos more impressive. Servers wandered around in what can only be described as complete disarray - drinks forgotten, tables ignored, confusion everywhere. Meanwhile, a man at the bar was passionately yelling at the bartender about something none of us could quite decode. Hockey? Politics? Ferrari strategy? Nobody knew, but he was committed.
Then the food arrived, & morale collapsed instantly.
The butternut squash ravioli came drowning in what looked & tasted suspiciously like canned gravy, yet somehow also carried the haunting sweetness of vanilla cake frosting. I don't know how they achieved a flavor profile that simultaneously reminded me of Thanksgiving leftovers & grocery store birthday cake, but it was enough to send the entire table into a silent depressive state. Every bite felt emotionally confusing. You'd chew, pause, look around the table, & wonder if life had somehow taken a wrong turn.
Nothing else improved from there. The sauces were heavy in the worst possible way, the pasta tasted exhausted, & every dish arrived with the energy of something prepared out of obligation rather than passion. It was less'Italian dining experience' & more'cafeteria food served during a regional power outage.'
Halfway through the meal, what appeared to be a fully booked reservation for an elderly women's book club descended upon the restaurant & somehow took over most of the building. Suddenly there were cardigans everywhere, wine glasses clinking at dangerous frequencies, & enough loud discussion about novels to drown out the playoff game. The already struggling staff folded immediately under the pressure like Ferrari strategy in the final laps.
To her credit, our waitress was genuinely kind & clearly trying her best while the entire restaurant burned down around her. She was the lone bright spot in an otherwise catastrophic dining experience.
By the end of the meal, when you start quietly discussing whether a dine-&-dash might actually improve the evening, you know things have gone sideways.
Overall: if you're looking for authentic Italian disappointment served with playoff hockey chaos, rogue book clubs, existential sadness, & ravioli that tastes like gravy-coated birthday cake, this place absolutely delivers.
Got the pasta pollo alla Sofia & it was delicious! Also had a Paloma & another drink I can't remember the name of but both were so good. Our server Romain was so attentive & kind! We're visiting & he gave us some great recommendations that we ended up trying & loved! Thank you so much Romain!
My group & I had an amazing experience! We enjoyed our drinks & food a lot, & it was great quality food. Our server Tony was very kind, caring & made the evening entertaining & enjoyable 🤗 Great view as well of the nice city lights
They made us wait for 40 minutes at the door for a table that was reserved in anticipation.
We were stopped at the door saying the full party of 18 needed to be present to be seated. Twelve of us were present hoping to order drinks & apps while waiting for the person whose birthday we were celebrating.
When asked to be seated instead of standing by the door, the manager was defensive of their policy instead of accommodating for us as the clients.
It used to be a great place for large groups, with a reliable & speedy experience, but management is choosing to be less accommodating
It was my wife's birthday & let me tell you that they gave us the must horrible service ever. It took 45 min for the food to come on our table, & when it came none of them were cooked properly...we had to return my wife plate as well as my guest plate. When I complained to the manager about the long wait of our food, the only thing she did is to give us free drinks. Koodo to our waiter who looked very busy, I think he had to much table to cover...he was great & funny.
We gave this place a chance based on reviews, but the service was a nightmare. The staff has zero internal communication. We were stopped at the door & treated like criminals for trying to step outside for a smoke, even though we told a waitress & left our bags at the table as a guarantee. The management was incredibly rude & dismissive until the moment we paid; then their attitude suddenly shifted.
We specifically asked if our food would stay, but we came back upstairs to find our table cleared & our meal in takeout boxes anyway. It felt like we were profiled & judged because we were in sweatpants, as they didn't bother to listen to us until they had our money. The manager tried to fix it with a free drink, but the night was already ruined. As for the food, the ravioli was okay, but the soup was nothing special & the Manzo pasta was very'mid' & lacked flavor. Save your money & go somewhere where the staff treats customers with basic respect.
