If you haven't been to Vasconia Boulangerie on Saint Denis yet, you're seriously missing out! This charming spot is a true gem in Montreal's Le Plateau, offering some of the freshest, most delicious breads & pastries you'll find in the city. The cozy atmosphere & friendly staff make every visit a delight.
But here's the real showstopper: their alfajor is hands down one of the best in town! Soft, perfectly sweet, & filled with luscious dulce de leche, it's a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth craving an authentic Latin American treat. Pair it with their rich coffee or fresh natural juices, & you've got a winning combo.
Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee, studying, or indulging in a leisurely pastry break, Vasconia Boulangerie delivers consistently excellent quality & warm vibes. Highly recommended for locals & visitors alike who want to taste a slice of Montreal's vibrant bakery scene with a delicious twist!
As a tourist from England, I naturally find myself exploring various restaurants & coffee shops while staying in Montreal.
But ever since discovering this place, I've been coming here almost every day-whether to catch up with friends or simply to enjoy a coffee & a bite to eat.
I'm fairly certain that, like me, once you experience Café Vasconia, it'll become one of those rare spots you simply can't overlook.
Not just about the reasonable prices or the excellent quality of their food & drinks-it's the warm, welcoming atmosphere & the genuine kindness of the Chef that truly set it apart.
Easily a 10/10 in my books.
Really great spot to study, great coffee, & the cheese bread is amazing. I would highly recommend for students!
