Feeling super generous with this 4⭐? review. The food is absolutely MID, like it's not unique at all, I can easily replicate it at home & it will be better. I ordered the best seller plate: The Magnolia (23$ - pricey for what it is, I feel like the Benedicts would have a way better cost benefit). Salad & potatoes portion below average size, small. Pancakes taste like flour. Egg - well, it's just egg, right? Bacon same. Wouldn't come back. The servers were the best part of the experience cause they're nice (nothing exceptional but I can see they're working hard). The aesthetics are OK for coffee shop, for brunch could be cuter.

Très belle découverte ! Le café Magnolia est un endroit très chaleureux & cozy !
Le staff ainsi que les gérants sont très très gentils & agréables ! Les pancakes sont vraiment délicieux ! 🤤

2 of us ate quickly, the others ordered shakshuka & waited well over 30 minutes before it arrived. If it's going to take that long at least warn us ….

Mixed feelings about my experience here. I typically like to order in advance over the phone to cut my wait times- they didn't allow me to do so. But that's a minor point. Once I did arrive, the service was a little off. One girl thought I was an Uber delivery driver, presumably due to my ethnicity...racial profiling for breakfast wasn't what I had in mind. The other barista I actually ordered with wasn't that cool either. Maybe it was a language thing.
The pancakes themselves were thick & fluffy just how I like it, with the right amount of sweetness in the batter. The only disappointment was the sad amount of syrup that came with them, did not thoroughly cover all three of them. But the dish was overall enjoyable. Price point was ok.

Nous avons pris le brunch ici ce midi, le service impeccable & la nourriture vraiment délicieuse ! Mention spéciale pour l'avocado toast à tomber par terre !

Avant mon voyage je cherchais un endroit sympa où manger rapidement lors de mon passage au Mont-Royal je suis tombée sur le Café Magnolia & franchement très bon choix ! Le service était rapide exactement ce qu'il me fallait avant de continuer ma journée. & en plus j'ai très bien mangé !!

On m'a recommandé ce café brunch pour la qualité des plats du chef & franchement je ne regrette absolument pas c'était trés délicieux!! Je recommande vivement.
Dorénavant je passerai souvent chez vous avec un grand plaisir ♥
