Amazing sushi. Tasty & authentic. I went to Japan & I know this is authentic sushi. I am an expert. The people are friendly & nice. They helped us find a table & brought us food all evening. I came with 2 people & we ate a lot of sushi. It was yymmy & delicious.
Sushi & pokebowls are amazing!! Food can take a while to be prepared because theres usually one or two people cooking, but it's worth it! Cant wait to be back in the summer, heard they might be closing, hope it's not the case :(

Grateful to find this hidden gem before the owner closes his place by the end of this year, so sad :( The owner was very polite & talented! He really makes great sushi rolls. This is by far one of the best sushi places we've ever been to!
My husband & I are a foodie, we travel for food & have high standards for sashimi. We even like travelling to Japan, usually we stay there for 2 months just to have authentic sushi, so when I say this place has amazing sushi rolls, it really is! No sugar coating here.

Absolument délicieux, sushi frais & remplis de saveurs. Les makis #14-15-16 sont excellent. Il faut par contre appelez à l'avance pour avant de récupérer vos commandes car la préparation peut prendre plus de 30 à 45 min avant d'être prête surtout en heure de pointe.
Les commandes sont garder au frido, ce que je trouve bien attentionné de leur part.
Les pokes bowls restent à être essayer, merci UTO sushi, à bientôt.
Sushis tout a fait délicieux, très frais, les makis & le Inari Tartare étaient vraiment extraordinaires. Un des meilleurs sushi que nous avons mangés. De plus, ils sont tellement gentils, définitivement notre nouvel endroit de sushi à partir de maintenant.

me & my girlfriend were looking for a nice sushi place nearby. We stumbled upon UTO sushi a few weeks ago & figured we'd give it a shot to test out the reviews. We arrived about half an hour before closing & the chef was very welcoming & explained to us we might have to wait a little while as he had many orders. We waited about 20 minutes which is very reasonable for fresh sushi. & for the wait he gave us a free 15$ plate of Sushi along with our plate! He absolutely didn't need too. & then we got home & THE BEST SUSHI IN MONTREAL!
Our go-to-place for affordable & delicious sushi in Montreal. My boyfriend & I visit it often, even on our birthday nights when it's a workday but we still want something nice before the weekend party.
Be sure to order in advance, or prevent about 30min of wait, especially during peak hours. We usually enjoy just sit there & talk with the chef, or order then go to St-Laurent, get a coffee & some natas before we come back.
We would recommend the torched sushis #14 & #16, & for poke we recommend either eel or salmon.
