Ukiya Izakaya offers a lively Japanese tapas vibe with a broad, affordable menu that shines during happy hour and all you can eat options, while a number of reviews praise the friendly, attentive staff and stylish, cozy atmosphere. The food is generally good and varied, with standout bites like grilled eggplant, beef short rib in a rich sauce, tasty dumplings, takoyaki and sashimi, and many notes on generous drink selections from cocktails to sake, though some dishes can be over fried or under seasoned and a few orders arrive late or are incomplete in the all you can eat format. Service and speed are inconsistent, with some visits described as fast and welcoming and others marked by slow service or misordered tables, and a few diners felt portions or quality did not always meet expectations for the price. Overall Ukiya Izakaya is seen as a reliable, sociable spot for groups or casual meals, strong for drinks and sharing plates, but potential guests should temper expectations on consistency and dish execution.
Loved this place, great food, amazing cocktails, service is the best 😍😁 had the summer purple cocktail, excellent. The grilled seafood & vegetables, delicious 😋🤩🤠 loved the suggestions. Great service 😁
Top restaurant! Impressive menu & the food is delicious. Best Japanese restaurant I've been to. This is a place you need to visit a few times to really try everything they have to offer.

Staff is very nice, place was cute & clean. We personally had some fried veggies, fried chicken, veggies bao, beef & chicken sticks. Overall food is tasty but be aware, when things are fried, it is simply very oily. You can tell the oil is fresh though. But man it is oily. Not what we expected. So I give the food a 4 start cause you can tell it's all good quality & fresh produce, but the heavy oil is not my thing.
The decor is cute, the staff is super friendly & the food was delicious! We had the oysters, salmon tartare, grilled eel & the flambé tuna! They were all great! My favorite was the salmon tartare & the grilled eel. They also have a variety of cocktails & mocktails available which were very nice🍹👌🏼
