Ukiya Izakaya offers a lively Japanese tapas vibe with a broad, affordable menu that shines during happy hour and all you can eat options, while a number of reviews praise the friendly, attentive staff and stylish, cozy atmosphere. The food is generally good and varied, with standout bites like grilled eggplant, beef short rib in a rich sauce, tasty dumplings, takoyaki and sashimi, and many notes on generous drink selections from cocktails to sake, though some dishes can be over fried or under seasoned and a few orders arrive late or are incomplete in the all you can eat format. Service and speed are inconsistent, with some visits described as fast and welcoming and others marked by slow service or misordered tables, and a few diners felt portions or quality did not always meet expectations for the price. Overall Ukiya Izakaya is seen as a reliable, sociable spot for groups or casual meals, strong for drinks and sharing plates, but potential guests should temper expectations on consistency and dish execution.
Très bon ramen mais petit bémol pour le maïs (ça je comprendrai jamais ^^), accompagné de Umeshu c'est toujours gagnant ! Serveur super sympathique & ambiance décontractée
We had a great time & the food was great & the service wonderful. Our waitress was one to recommend. If you're in the area or just looking for some great bao buns, this is the place for you.
Bon Rapport qualité / prix Plats savoureux en general assez bien Moins aimé le boeuf sur plaque & calmar Service très bien Ambiance trop calme. Musique douce Je n'ai pas aimé l'ambiance
Attentive, thoughtful service & a great variety of fresh choices. The lunch specials are great & filling, especially the grilled salmon & baos. A nice place to catch up with friends & share a drink too.
ramen at this place cannot be described in words, but rather experienced in person. add onto that service by kevin & natasha, & it makes for a perfect winter sunday experience.
