Tommy Café est perçu comme un lieu charmant et très prisé, installé dans un bâtiment historique du Vieux-Montréal avec un intérieur à étages et une ambiance cosy qui séduisent pour le café, les toasts à l'avocat et les pâtisseries. Le service est souvent salué comme chaleureux et efficace, et la qualité des boissons et des plats est largement appréciée, avec des mentions particulièrement positives pour l avocado toast, les pancakes et les latte. Certains trouvent toutefois l'endroit surévalué et un peu cher, et le cadre peut être bruyant ou difficile à apprivoiser lorsque la salle est bondée, rendant la recherche d'une place parfois compliquée. The food is espetacular & the space is beautiful, but I went there twice & these two times I had bad experience with staff. Some were very nice & polite, but others incredibly rude. I suppose it might have a correlation with the lack of tipping & the fact that there is table service. But that is a establishment choice, because I would be happy to tip & always do. Now the rude service is just unacceptable. Now, the food is great & I would recommend the salmon avocado toast, & the iced chai latte.
Super beau mais la nourriture n'a aucun goût. Je crois que je n'ai jamais mangé quelque chose avec aussi peu de saveur avant. La toast avocat avec bocconcini & tomates était particulièrement triste. Vraiment aucun goût & pourtant si chère! Nous avons commandé 2 cafés tommy (lucky charms), c'était très sucré, mais bon! Sinon, pour manger nous avons pris la toast avocat tomate bocconcini & le croissant déjeuner qui étaient tous les deux très décevants. Environ 60$ au total & ça n'en vallait vraiment pas le coût.

I recently visited Tommy Cafe & I was thoroughly impressed by their offerings & ambiance, though there was a slight hiccup with the timing of the service. We ordered a delectable chocolate almond pain au chocolat paired with coffee, & a savory chicken avocado toast among other items for a group of six. Each dish was prepared to perfection, highlighting the quality ingredients & skillful preparation. The service was commendable with attentive & friendly staff. However, there was a minor issue with the timing as our coffees were served well before the food, & unfortunately, they cooled down by the time our meals were ready. This didn't overshadow the overall experience, but it's something that could be tweaked for a flawless dining experience. The cafe itself boasts a cozy & beautifully decorated interior that adds to the charm & makes it a great spot for gatherings or a quiet coffee. It's a place I would definitely recommend & revisit, hoping for a little more synchronization between the kitchen & the barista next time
It's a lovely spot in Old Montreal with cozy vibes. The food was really good. A bit pricey but worth trying once. Their Almond croissant is great & even the Avocado toast. The place do get full so be prepared to wait but not that long.
Beautiful Rustic setting to have excellent coffee offerings.. The avocado toast was so delicious to my eyes & pallette... Mmmmwhua🤤.. Beautiful & charming staff.. All summed up to 5 star experience
Tommy's Cafe located on 200 Notre - Dame St. W, is a beautiful place to stop in & enjoy a cup of coffee. The avocado toast was delicious, I savored every bite. There were live hanging plants all around the store which made the ambiance very peaceful & welcoming.
Great spot to stop for great lattes & breakfast items! It may be challenging to find a place to sit while they are busy, but the coffee & greek avocado toast was delicious ☕️
Tommy café is obviously a must if you are in Montreal. The place is gorgeous, the coffee tastes wonderful & the service is good. I'd say the only inconvenient is that it is a well-known place so it is often packed. I strongly recommend the avocado toast. They use thick slices of good quality bread, & the avocado is not over seasoned.

Lovely spot in Old Montreal. Cute/cozy vibe. They had amazing quality matcha & yummy lox avocado toast. Portion was big . Prices are high but quality is high too. Lots of seating room.
Really disappointed in the place. You tip but you serve by yourself going up & down the stair to take your order (drinks). The avocado toasts are tasteless & when I asked to replace I was told I need to pay a difference (I asked to add an egg). I paid $60 for 2 simple toast, 2 coffee & 2 croissants.
Has a lovely time here. We were there on Sunday around noon & it was packed. It took awhile to line up but the coffee was quick. You need to find your own seat & it took some time for food to come out but they were super busy. Everything tasted great but the breakfast croissant & salmon avocado toast was amazing. Highly recommend as the atmosphere was great with friendly staff.

The drink & food were nice but pretty expensive for their price point. We got the avocado toast but it was just avocado on a toast so had no flavour or taste to it for $13.
Ce café est malheureusement victime de sa popularité; attente interminable pour commander & pratiquement impossible de trouver une place assise par la suite. Il pourrait être intéressant qu’une hôtesse assigne les places pour éviter la longue attente & la mauvaise gestion des places assises. Les pâtisseries sont délicieuses & le café tout autant. Les toasts sont également très bonnes 🙂. J’y retournerai, mais sûrement pas sur l’heure du lunch!
