Afficher toutcafe(140) coffee(119) latte(48) croissant(47) breakfast(45) toast(43) beautiful(37) avocado(33) busy(32) recommend(29) vibe(27) avocado toast(26)a lovely spot for a coffee & sweet treat combo. so insanely busy i was worried i wouldnt find a seat whilst waiting in line to order, but luckily for me someone left as i ordered. i wish i ordered a proper meal as every time the staff walked these to guests i felt so envious. drinks were delish.
The café is very cute inside, we enjoyed sitting on the stools & watching the street outside. However the coffee & almond croissant were disappointing.
Very nice place to have a coffee & some food at, nice atmosphere, nice staff definitely worth the visit. Very good coffees!
A fabulous location for a Tommy's franchise in Montreal. Housed in a former bank building constructed in the early 20th century, it has architectural panache & is a gathering place for students & others in Old Montreal. Great coffee too, ana within walking distance of the Notre Dame Bassilica.
Pretty iconic location & decor. The building is in a cool neighborhood with old architecture. There is always a line poutside so that means it is popular. But at the same time it is always crowded & difficult to fins a seat. The coffee is very good. Food options are always limited & expensive. Overall very nice place but just a few small things I dont like about it. 4 out of 5 stars.
The coolest little cafe, very cosy & friendly right next to Notre-Dame with teas, coffees, pastries & sandwiches. A great hangout.
My sandwich & coffee were amazing! Finding good-quality coffee in Montréal is not easy, so I would definitely go back for their coffee. The atmosphere was also very pleasant, with great background music that wasn't too loud. Overall, it is now definitely one of my favourite places for coffee & brunch.
As A Regular Client I have encountered some unacceptable behavior from one the employees which I find is unprofessional because as a regular client such as myself & others a public place like Tommy's Café should be a place welcoming & treating people with respect & not looking down on others to make people look bad which I had experience with the employees & shouldn't be any bullying like high school or elementary school children & not asking questions like don't go to other coffee places ? Even tho your a regular client you happen to go all the time there shouldn't be any awkwardness in the working environment not having a unwelcoming vibe & giving attitude for reason no matter what you always treat people with respect no matter what . But as regular this was unprofessional behavior in the work place people need act better & do better . There should no reason for making people feel uncomfortable.
Good coffee & great pastries. It's a nice place to meet friends in Vieux-Montréal, though it's very popular & busy.
Stop for coffee but ended up getting breakfast, too. The menu is quite different from other local establishments & well worth a try.
While searching for a café near our hotel in Montreal, I was immediately drawn to Tommy Café by its interior-& seeing it in person was just as charming.
Located inside the historic British Empire Building, the café has a light, fresh, & romantic feel that contrasts beautifully with the grandeur of the building itself.
I believe most of the the toasts/bagels & sandwiches are with avocado, combine with different ingredients, they were very good. My coffee latte was solid, too.
A lovely spot to visit if you appreciate good ambience as much as a good cup of coffee.
Great place in Old Montreal to rest & have a coffee & a bite to eat. Loved the music selection that had a 60s & 70s vibe which played quietly in the background so conversation was not inhibited. Food was great. In a lovely old building that has an eclectic feel with the decor, that is inviting. Thoroughly recommend!!
Maria is the best! Wonderful place, we enjoyed the delicious breakfast & coffee. Will return!
This Cafe has a cute vibe, great coffee,
Croissants & Avocado toast. Cute place for breakfast
Tommy Café is a beautiful spot with a stylish two-floor interior that's definitely worth seeing. However, it gets extremely crowded & personally, I didn't enjoy the coffee. Still, it's a nice place to visit at least once for the atmosphere.
Not a lot of places use their vertical space well. Most of them just have the two separate floors with a stairway just to get between them but I really like what Tommys did. They have half way spaces on the way up to the second floor that looks out at everyhing. Opening up the second story & having that inbetween space really makes the place feel like there is not a bad spot throughout.
The pastries looked great but we ended up just going with some cold brew which had a nice chocolatly note. It was a little bit busy but we were able to get our drink & seats almost imediatly so it ended up not being too bad.
Overall a great place for coffee.
