Stumbled upon Tommy Café last Saturday while exploring the neighbourhood & immediately felt at home with the warm lighting & low-key vibe. I ordered their avocado toast & it was honestly one of the better versions I've had in the city, perfectly seasoned with a nice crunch. The staff were super friendly & didn't rush me even though I camped out for a couple hours with my laptop. Definitely coming back next weekend, this spot has become my new favourite Saturday morning ritual.
Stopped in here last Saturday afternoon after wandering around the Plateau & I'm so glad I did. The cortado was honestly one of the best I've had, & the staff were super friendly even though it was pretty busy. As someone visiting from Ontario, I wasn't expecting such a cozy, laid-back vibe - it felt like a neighbourhood spot that locals actually love. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Montreal.
Young Aaron (but spelled differently, he wouldn't explain lol) was a great host in a bustling vibe of a great spot. Open windows out onto the cobble stone street & the world walking by was a wonderful way to dip our toes into the Old Montreal scene. We didn't realize until later that there were other Tommy Cafe's in town, but it didn't matter, this one felt like it was part of the history right there!
Everyone but me started with an iced Chai latte & they raved about them. I (being after lunch) started with their spicy bloody ceasar yum. I had the aurora bagel I think it was called, salmon on a perfect bed of cream cheese & an awesome Montreal bagel! My friend had the chicken & avo sandwich which he said was fresh & perfect & my kid swapped with me for half an avo sandwich. Every bite was delish. Walk the strip, then come back for a beer & bite in this fun little shop.
Love visiting this cafe whenever I'm Montreal. It's a funky, friendly, cool vibe place with great coffee & food options. I had the breakfast croissant & latte that were so good. There's a loft seating area & tiered levels that makes it unique.
Tommy Café in Montreal has a great atmosphere & is in a fantastic location. I tried both the matcha latte & a regular latte. The regular latte was good, while the matcha latte could have been a bit better. Overall, the place is beautiful, the vibes are nice, & the staff were friendly & welcoming. A great spot to relax & enjoy a coffee.
Tommy Café is one of the most aesthetic & cozy cafés in Montreal. The design is stunning-white marble, greenery, & natural light that makes it feel calm yet upscale. It's perfect for brunch, coffee dates, or getting work done in a beautiful setting. The coffee is consistently good, & the pastries are fresh & well-made. It can get busy, so seating isn't always easy, but the vibe & atmosphere make it worth the wait.
The ambience, vibe, music & most importantly the coffee is absolute 100/10. I was taken of by Clara & John who are just amazing at their jobs & great to talk to.
I ended up coming here twice within a couple of hours
