Tommy Café est perçu comme un lieu charmant et très prisé, installé dans un bâtiment historique du Vieux-Montréal avec un intérieur à étages et une ambiance cosy qui séduisent pour le café, les toasts à l'avocat et les pâtisseries. Le service est souvent salué comme chaleureux et efficace, et la qualité des boissons et des plats est largement appréciée, avec des mentions particulièrement positives pour l avocado toast, les pancakes et les latte. Certains trouvent toutefois l'endroit surévalué et un peu cher, et le cadre peut être bruyant ou difficile à apprivoiser lorsque la salle est bondée, rendant la recherche d'une place parfois compliquée. Malgré ces réserves, Tommy Café est généralement vu comme une étape incontournable à Montréal pour son décor et son atmosphère accueillante, avec la promesse d'une expérience agréable et d'un moment convivial.
The food is espetacular & the space is beautiful, but I went there twice & these two times I had bad experience with staff. Some were very nice & polite, but others incredibly rude. I suppose it might have a correlation with the lack of tipping & the fact that there is table service. But that is a establishment choice, because I would be happy to tip & always do. Now the rude service is just unacceptable. Now, the food is great & I would recommend the salmon avocado toast, & the iced chai latte.

A beautiful niche, with plenty of seating, & great decor. You order at the counter & receive your food at the table of your choice. Drinks must be picked up at the counter. The portions are appropriate, & the sandwiches are very good.
A beautiful two-level cafe with plants & opulent details on the wall. Photos don't do it justice, you have to visit to see it in person. Really cute hangout spot. Decent coffee too. Expect long lines!
I recently visited Tommy Cafe & I was thoroughly impressed by their offerings & ambiance, though there was a slight hiccup with the timing of the service. We ordered a delectable chocolate almond pain au chocolat paired with coffee, & a savory chicken avocado toast among other items for a group of six. Each dish was prepared to perfection, highlighting the quality ingredients & skillful preparation. The service was commendable with attentive & friendly staff. However, there was a minor issue with the timing as our coffees were served well before the food, & unfortunately, they cooled down by the time our meals were ready. This didn't overshadow the overall experience, but it's something that could be tweaked for a flawless dining experience. The cafe itself boasts a cozy & beautifully decorated interior that adds to the charm & makes it a great spot for gatherings or a quiet coffee. It's a place I would definitely recommend & revisit, hoping for a little more synchronization between the kitchen & the barista next time
Beautiful Rustic setting to have excellent coffee offerings.. The avocado toast was so delicious to my eyes & pallette... Mmmmwhua🤤.. Beautiful & charming staff.. All summed up to 5 star experience
Tommy's Cafe located on 200 Notre - Dame St. W, is a beautiful place to stop in & enjoy a cup of coffee. The avocado toast was delicious, I savored every bite. There were live hanging plants all around the store which made the ambiance very peaceful & welcoming.
We stopped by this cafe for breakfast & were very impressed. The food was really good. There was a big queue but it was moving fast. Seating was almost full but we were able to get a spot. The ambience of cafe is beautiful & service is fast. I would recommend going to this cafe.

Beautiful place in a beautiful neighborhood. Pastries are a standout, excellent service in English or ( I presume) French on both occasions I visited. Busy but quick on weekends, chill & beautiful atmosphere on weekdays.
Beautiful place to take a cup of coffee, the food are very delicious & the service was pretty good. I really loved the place & coffee, there are many cozy spaces to enjoy your beverage & work online. It was a good stay.
It is a beautiful café in British Empire Building. The surface is limited & it is so loud! I don't recommend it for business meetings. I was a little bit disappointed. I had Macchiato & it wasn't really what I wanted.
Amazing cafe in a really old beautiful building in Old Montreal. The place feels so refreshing & makes it so enjoyable to be there. Coffee was excellent as well.
