Review Summary

Reviews describe TABOO Cuisine Rebelle as a lively, reliable pre show destination near Hector Charland theatre, with a menu that shines on mini burgers, tartares, tuna tataki, poke bowls, poutine and other shareable favorites. Food quality is repeatedly praised as excellent and portions generous, with many noting house recipes and fresh, flavorful ingredients that make each visit feel like a solid value. Service is consistently described as fast, professional, friendly and attentive, helping guests keep to show times, though occasional delays or a louder dining room are mentioned by a few, along with occasional dishes that arrive tepid or not quite meeting expectations. Ambiance is warm and welcoming, sometimes bustling or loud but overall enjoyable, and reservations are often encouraged due to popularity. Overall, the consensus points to a versatile, crowd pleasing spot with strong flavors, creative burgers and tartares, good beer and cocktails, and dependable service that makes it a frequent favorite, while a minority note concerns about price, wine list and occasional inconsistencies.
