Our waiter was so kind & came by often. A great place for a bigger group. The food was so hearty especially the soups. Great selection of drinks. Always great to reconnect with Eastern European dishes ❤️
The food was amazing! 😍 My partner had the cabbage rolls (stuffed with meat). It was really delicious. I had the table d'hôte with the zurek soup, & the debutante plate. While our Polish friends mentioned it's not things that necessarily go together, it allowed us to taste a lot of different things. Everything was great! We had both the crumble & crêpes for dessert. Again, nothing to complain about. Also, we shared the pickled herring for the table. Highly recommended as a chaser. Amazing service (only complaint is that it was a bit slow but it was Friday night & they seemed slammed). & the ambiance is really cool & chill.
Stumbled upon this absolute gem in old Montreal. The cabbage rolls & beef stroganoff were absolutely sensational. The potato latkes were phenomenal. The staff were on point & the ambience was warm & inviting. If I could give more than five stars, I definitely would. & try the dill pickle soup, another absolutely delicious menu option.
What a fantastic restaurant! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the Dill Pickle Soup, & their Debutant plate. Generous portion sizes, friendly wait staff, & a live jazz pianist made this dining experience truly special.
This restaurant was amazing! The food, the decor, the service & the guy playing the piano. It all came together for a wonderful dining experience. The beet soup was a great start. The perogis were delicious. The ambiance was just right. It's deep into the old montreal area but worth the trek. Go early as the wait can be long. Without a doubt I highly recommend this place!
Wow wow wow. As someone from Kraków who cooks a lot of polish meals at home, I can definitely say this restaurant is extremely authentic. We were blown away by the quality & spot on authenticity of it. We ordered the zupa ogórkowa (pickle soup), barszcz (beet soup), krokiety (mushroom croquettes), pierogi ruskie (potato pierogis) & the szarlotka (Apple crumble pie). While everything was delicious & traditionally presented, the pierogi & szarlotka were our favorites. The pierogis were plump with great potato quality & not heavy on dough. You can def tell they were handmade. Every bite the potatoes melted in your mouth & you can taste the butter & onions. So good! Now the szarlotka. We never order dessert but based on how authentic everything else was, I could not resist trying this traditional apple dessert. Let me tell you, not only did it not disappoint but very much exceeded our expectations. It was served perfectly chilled, & you can taste both the sweet & tartness of the apple. & the fresh cream on top was so insanely delicious. We practically licked the plate. & don't skip on the cocktails! We also had the szarlotka cocktail which was served with Zubrowka vodka (our fave), apple juice & a splash of lemon. Served with a little bit of cinnamon & sugar on the rim. Wow oh wow. Refreshing & complex, what an amazing cocktail. Will def be trying to recreate at home but if not, just another excuse to visit this restaurant. Definitely don't skip this spot. If you want to try authentic polish food, this is the place! Enjoy it with the live piano player who is there most week night.

Easily the best meal we had during our visit to Montreal, I would come back to the city just for the ogorkowa soup. It's hard to find good Polish food & this was top tier!
I ordered the three course Menu du Debutant; it was delicious. I enjoyed the dill pickle soup as a starter. Sides of horseradish & sour cream are excellent complements to the meal. The apple crisp with coffee was the perfect conclusion to my dinner experience. The atmosphere & service are top of the line. Make reservations for dinner!
Incredible polish eats, just like Baba made! My husband & I wanted to try as much of the menu as possible so he ordered the Debutant, which consist of an assortment of polish dishes & I had Golabki (cabage rolls). Pierogi must be included at some point of your meal as their fabulous👌 I can't wait to go back to try their dill pickle soup amd brunch. Curie-tini cocktail proves that vodka & pickle is a winning combination. Service was courteous & super fast. Prices are incredibly reasonable. Will definitely be back!

When I read the reviews all were amazing, fresh food, beautiful decor... I don't know about you buy fried potatoes & fried crepe rolls & way too salty soup is not fresh food to me. I have never had polish food before but this is not gastronomy to me. Super uncomfortable church pews & way too dark. The only really good point is the amazing service. Not worth the ridiculous price. Maybe polish food is just not my thing.

WOW!
