St-Viateur Bagel is an iconic & beloved bagel bakery located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It's one of the oldest & most renowned bagel shops in the city. It's a symbol of Montreal's rich & diverse food scene. Best bagel here is the traditional sesame seed bagel that I had & it is the most popular too. St-Viateur offers a variety of flavors including poppy seed, whole wheat, cinnamon raisin, & more. They also have specialty options like rosemary sea salt & multigrain. This is an integral part of Montreal's culinary landscape, known for producing some of the best bagels in the world. It's a must-visit destination for bagel enthusiasts & food lovers alike.
This little hidden gem serves Montreal's best bagels. The prices are a little steep, but to me they're worth it for the quality that you're getting. They have a great variety of bagels & they're always warm & fresh. They don't make sandwiches at this location (I asked), but they do sell butter & cream cheese packets so if you're on the go you can make them yourself. The staff are friendly, & they have different types of jams & other products on display in their fridges. As far as bagels go, this is my new favorite joint for them.
I had the bagel lox & it was nothing short of delicious. Great balance of capers, crème cheese, plenty of fresh smoked salmon, dill, red onions, it was definitely worth every penny! Thank you so much to the staff for the patience too, as I thought I knew what to order but changed my mind twice. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Montreal. Thank you so much !!
Some of the best bagels I've ever had. It was super cool seeing them hand wrap & wood fire them. Just be sure to bring $CAD in cash since they don't take Foreign Debit/Credit Skip the line for the sandwiches/dine in & just grab a half-dozen or a dozen from the bagel counter!
