fresh(119) cash(100) sesame(87) oven(49) cheese(45) shop(41) dozen(28) recommend(26) classic(26) flavor(25) atm(24) chewy(23)Worth the journey. I basically ate a dozen while walking around & exploring. No regrets
Only takes cash, no space to eat inside. They don't make sandwiches so you have to buy a container of cream cheese & eat it outside. They rush the line along & after all that the bagels are just ok - either on par or a little worse than the ones I buy from fortinos & way worse than the ones I get in NY. That said for the price I would go back & would be better prepared
Belle place, $ Comptant seulement, Bagels un peu plus chers qu'en épicerie, mais ca vaut la peine du fait qu'ils soient Homemade.
There are no vegan bagels, which would be nice to have. But they had a great tofu cream cheese. Nice little authentic shop 👌
If you want to eat a fresh bagel out of the oven 24/7, just head here. Last week, I even tried their bagel without a hole. I think I will stick to the sesame with a hole version.
Fun atmosphere, smells amazing. Tried to eat my bagel hot but there is no table space & the worlds worst knives.
2024 Back to that famous fresh, delicious, warm sesame bagel that we've known for many years! Fast & friendly service too! The best bagels for sure! :) Good sesame bagels, but they used to be better....they were a little hard. Went on a saturday lunchtime, it was busy, the girl bagging them was very nice & helpful but the cashier was grumpy & not very polite.
I visited around 6:30 a.m., & warm sesame bagels were being baked. They told me that the other types of bagels were not baked a moment ago, so I tried the sesame bagel, & it was very good! chewy inner & crispy outside! Match with the cream cheese!
Love love love going to st viateur! I always get at least 10 bagels so i can freeze them & warm them up later. They taste & feel the same even after being frozen. Definitely recommend & as it closes at midnight, you could go anytime when you have a bagel craving!
Good place... Freshly baked bagels & the variety is really good as well.. We tried their couple of bagels namely - sesame, all dressed, butterscotch caramel, cinnamon raising, rosemary sea salt (this was the best) Recommended to have it with cream cheese of course the savory ones...
Pretty average bagel relative to what you can get in NYC. & they aren't warm. Note that the locations in Mile End do not have sit down options, & you can only buy individual bagels with stuff on the side (vs. getting a bagel with fixings).
