Afficher toutramen(135) cocktail(84) drink(76) recommend(44) chicken(36) sushi(35) japanese(34) brunch(34) pancake(33)The staff is better now than previous reviews stated, but the noodles didn't cut it to me as much. The ramen noodles aren't the traditional type, while the udon was over cooked. Their sauce is well made & thought out, so they are well above what you can expect in Montreal. The sushi quality & decor was also great. I'm looking forward to their brunch soufflé pancakes, which aren't common in Mtl. Their ramen tonkatsu broth was well prepared, better than the mixed instant powder or more watered down msg options we have in mtl. The carbonara was also very hearty but not overbearing.
Fantastic udon & ramen with very filling portions ! A delicious cocktail menu as well!Voir plus
The duck ramen & chicken ramen were good. The service could be better & more welcoming.Voir plus
Vraiment sympathique. & les recettes changent au cours des saisons. Ramen au ragoût de boeuf, vraiment délicieux.Voir plus
I live close to this place but noticed it was a chain, so never was overly interested. I dropped it for the 16$ lunch Ramen special & got the pork. The creamy flavour is there just watered down with chicken broth. Underwhelming. The pork itself was dry & the Ramen egg barely tasted of soy. Disappointing. I imagine it's better to go for a drink & some nibbles.Voir plus
The ramen was really good & ranks in my top 3 in the city. The mazemen is really good & the portion size was quite decent as well.
Service was slow to start but got better. Waitress seemed very junior. I recommend asking the clientele if they want drinks to start while deciding what to eat. Food was hit or miss. Good vegan sushi but cut a bit too large. Ramen was just okay - wrong noodles used. Pork was tender but better to season the brine. Boa buns were good. Great cocktails but signature cocktails are really expensive ranging from $21 - $26.Voir plus
I had never heard of this place, but it was among a list of places my son presented for my choice to dine & since I had never had Japanese food aside from sushi, this was my pick. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. We had Margaritas, Salmon Tataki, Bao with chicken, Karaage fried Chicken, Ramen Soup with Crab & more, all absolutely delicious! Great ambience. The service was a bit slow to start, but improved once the dishes began to roll out. The servers were friendly & very efficient. Definitely a return visit is in the cards.
It took 45 minutes to get drinks & our appetizers. The drinks were great however, the appetizers were meh.The karage chicken was bland & the gyoza dumpling were nothing special. However, the mao buns were great! Our main dishes were ramen & the chicken was dry & bland. I do not think I will be coming back. The food was mediocre & it took a very long time to receive our food & drinks. You can find other places that are better for the same price.
The 3 course table hôte meal was excellent & flavourful for the price (adding the crab on the ramen is a must). Drinks were great & the bar area is modern. The server was professional & courteous. We also had the rainbow roll & carbonara.Voir plus
Food was very good, atmosphere & service were excellent. I would actually give this place a 4.5 stars cause I found it a little overpriced. But no doubt they know how to cook. Our waiters even said their duck ramen has won competitions & we can understand why after trying it. Would do back to have more!Voir plus
First off, the AC is controlled by the building owners, & it's not cold just cool. So dress casually to make the whole experience more cooling 😊. Order the summer special X Singapore menu. The Singapore sling! At last I found you...... Taste wise not bad.... The alcohol is strong in this shop! We all like! The Slaw salad, i think it's a fusion off the lohei that singaporeans eat during chinese new year. If you are not used to raw veg, this can be mehhhh. But i find it refreshing, oh! Remember to mixed it up before you eat. Toss toss toss! The second course, i choose with broth & pork. The charsiew is like the Japanese ramen charsiew. Not the singaporean charsiew, so manage the expectations & think Japanese ramen style. Added the soft shell crab. It's nice! But i can barely finish half the ramen. The portion looks small but it's huge! You can ask for hot sauce, but it's still super mild spicy. Had the mango pudding..... Taste, close. Texture, too firm. There's coconut cream on top, maybe if they use coconut milk would be better. So..... Verdict, price point, super duper worth it! Food, i would say i will come back & try the non Singapore menu. Drinks, definitely!!!!!!!!!!!Voir plus
Great atmosphere. The sushi was fantastic. Had the classic Ramen: broth was great but noodles / meat did not have a great taste or texture.Voir plus
I had the singapore summer special & the ramen were very very good, tasty seasoned & well garnished. & for 38$ you get a cocktail, salad, ramen 3 gyozas (extremely good) & a dessert. Apparently i was the first to try it the staff made sure to come get some feedback about it. Will come back again!Voir plus
Food quality was great BUT brunch was not Japanese. We got the pancakes, the French toast, the ramen, & the beef with eggs. The pancakes were closer to a cake consistency rather than a fluffy jiggly pancake that they serve in Japan. They were dense & too heavy to enjoy fully. The French toast was ok but also not Japanese-style where the inside is supposed to be somewhat creamy/custardy in consistency. This was still very much toast-like & dry-ish. The beef & eggs were great, & very rich in flavour/umami; Tender beef & well marinated eggs. The bread that came with the mushroom sauce was soft at first but 3 minutes later, they turned rock hard & were hard to chew. For the Ramen, The broth was great! The egg was wonderful & overall very enjoyable. The fried chicken (karaage) was also really great! Juicy pieces of chicken! I personally think they have more strength in savoury plates vs sweet plates so I would recommend going savoury.Voir plus
One of the best shoyu ramen I've ever had! The chashu was also fantastic, not to mention the karaage.Voir plus
An absolutely delicious spot in Montreal. The ramen is outstanding.
Beyond my expectations, I had such an amazing experience. I've never been there before, but I'm definitely going to keep going back. I loved the atmosphere & the service. The food was great & it arrived quickly. The restaurant was spotless. I'll be coming back for the ramen. Please continue to provide this great experience.Voir plus
Delicious authentic ramen. Great ambiance & service. Recommended!
