We loved our experience at Sabrosa! It was a hot & humid evening in Montreal so we chose indoor seating with air conditioning. We were attended to immediately (thank you Nabos & Leo!) & while it wasn't on the cocktail menu, they made me a frozen strawberry daiquiri upon request. It wasn't what I expected, given how they are in the US, but it was honestly BETTER! After three days in Montreal, I finally had a delicious drink. We ordered appetizers, a tuna ceviche that was crazy tasty, & grilled corn on the cob which was good but I was too busy eating every last morsel from the ceviche to really care. For our entrees, my husband got the beef tacos with pineapple & I ordered the chicken enchiladas, & I think my comment to him at the end of the meal, when I said "I freakin' loved every sip & every bite of what we had here", sums it up. As a side note, another patron near us spilled her glass of red wine (on to her pretty, white skirt) & multiple servers came to help her, cleaning up the table & floor & doing so in such a friendly way. On the other side of us was a family of three, the toddler being probably two. While he howled about something (like little kids do, no judgement here!!), one of the servers & I chatted about how someone was clearly very sad. He very funnily commented that it definitely wasn't due to the food. I was super impressed with everything, start to finish, from drinks to food to service to atmosphere. If I didn't live four hours away, I would come here often!!
Amazing restaurant!! Had a great selection of menu options! Had a fabulous drink served in a cactus cup! I ordered the enchiladas with a few tapas like the corn, ceviche, fries, & rice & beans! The best food fancy Mexican food I've ever had! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Also, Leo was the best waiter as he was so kind & helpful! Really amazing dining experience!

This place was amazing, prices were great & food portions perfect. Our server ( Ismail ) was amazing. He was very knowledgeable of the menu & recommended the best drinks. I will gladly return here any time of the week.
We loved our dinner here! Food was amazing & light but filling! We started with the shrimp ceviche & corn on the cob & I then got tacos Al pastor which were so tasty. Ismail, our server, made the experience even better. He was extremely knowledgeable of the menu & food, & ensured that we all got drinks that we were happy with! He curated drinks to our own individual tastes if we didn't like something on the menu, & overall made our experience 10x better. Great job Sabrosa & Ismail :)

One of the best meals I've had in recent memory! Great location right in Old Port, the terrace was absolutely lovely & not too hot, & our server Ismail (spelling?) was phenomenal - made great drink recommendations, was prompt & accurate, had excellent knowledge of the menu, & was an absolute delight to chat with! We got the ceviche, birria tacos, corn, & green papaya salad, & everything was incredible. Definitely on the pricier side but I was pleasantly surprised by how filling the food was - especially the tacos. Would come back, hands down - one of the best dining experiences I've had in Montreal!

Food was fast & delicious. Server was a bit pissy but we were told he had a long day. My issue is that we were charged $4 for each'small' glass of Diet Coke! What restaurant charges $4 for a fountain drink & doesn't give free refills!? Ambience & location was awesome.
Absolutely loved the birria tacos & papaya salad at this cozy Mexican spot! The flavors were incredible. However, the drinks were a bit lacking with 90% ice & 10% drink, which was disappointing. But I 100% recommend this place!
Amazing experience, great food. Service was one of the best, smiling waiters giving good advice & genuine. Good job to the team I will come back for sure & with friends for a drink & tacos! Recommending the birria tacos & fries!
Price for quantity ❌ Flavour ❌ Drinks ❌ Instagram friendly ✅ This place looks really nice, but the food doesn't taste as good as it looks. Even though the dishes are pretty, they're just okay in flavor. I tried the express menu, but it didn't fill me up. The cocktails were tasty, but they had too much ice & not enough drink. The guacamole was way too expensive for the little bit they gave you. They gave you more chips than guacamole, which was disappointing. Compared to other places in Montreal, they don't give you few guacamole here.
I had reservations here on a Friday night. Our table was not ready for us when we got there. We were seated 6-8 minutes past our reservation time. Parking in old Montreal is not ideal but there are some parking lots/garages that you can use in the area. I have mixed feelings about this place as the experience was not as I hoped. I was seated at the bar & it took about 15 minutes for us to order drinks & then another 15 minutes for us to order our food. The two bartenders were clearly very busy & were working non-stop the entire time we were there. Our food came very quickly but parts of it was missing. The bar staff didn't ask about our meals until we were done & we informed them that we were still waiting for a few other plates. The food itself was really good. My only complaint is that the tostada were soggy when they should be crispy. But other than that, everything was super delicious. Our experience was really soured by the slow service at the bar but the bartender apologized at the end to let us know that normally there are 3 employees behind the bar when there were only 2 that night. I appreciated the apology & am willing to give this new resto another chance.
Our waiter/bartender was amazing! It was our first time coming & we can't wait to come back. He recommended the best food & our drinks were immaculate 💛 Thank you thank you!
