I called to book a reservation a few weeks in advance, & informed them of my peanut allergy. I was assured at multiple points that it would not be an issue for their Carte Blanche tasting menu. I also told my server, Olivier, about my allergy, & he seemed to understand & assured me there would be no nuts. However, our third course had obvious peanuts sprinkled right on top of the food, & he only noticed when my wife asked him about it. We could see him argue with the chef when it was sent back. He explained that the tasting menu *last week* was nut-free, when I booked this. To me, that tells me that he never actually spoke with the kitchen to inform them of my allergy.
The kitchen came up with a delicious substitute in short order, & I was pleased with it, however I find it unacceptable that a dish with visible severe allergens was ever put in front of me.
In addition to this, we had to wait over 20 minutes from me asking for my bill to actually receiving it. The restaurant was not overly busy; I could see my server goofing around with other waiters a few tables away while I waited, after having asked him for the bill. I took it as a major sign of disrespect for my own time, especially when the bill came out to $300 for a meal for two.
The food I could eat was quite good. While I did still tip reasonably, I cannot recommend this place to anyone who has severe food allergies.

Well... we dine out often & at many levels of sophistication & also of ease & fun! We arrived for my birthday celebration. I had looked through AI & the restaurant was highly recommended. We we excited for our experience. It started out nicely, waited spoke to us, shared his favorites, however it took a turn when he took my husbands order only & I was calling to him my appetizer order as he was walking away. All guests orders should be taken before the waiter leaves. Later moving forward some of the food came out, he told me the veggie dish I ordered was a beef dish. He then later returned with the veggies & then later 10 mins he came back with the cold dish he had taken & served it to my husband. I understand if the restaurant is busy but it was slow on a Tuesday evening. Anyways we would have ordered coffees etc but we sat for 20 mins with no attention. They brought out my husband's dessert from his prix fix menu & no birthday celebration was brought out. Sooooo disappointing after we specifically called & shared we were coming in to celebrate. The food was lovely but the service was poor. If you were treated correctly I would recommend this restaurant.
We had an incredible dining experience at Rosélys! We made our reservation same-day & the staff was still able to accommodate us seamlessly. From start to finish, everything felt like fine dining at its best; elegant, intentional, & flavorful.
We opted for the Carte Blanche 5-course experience with wine pairings, & it was absolutely worth it. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared & beautifully plated, truly Michelin star quality. The flavors were rich & refined, & the wine pairings elevated every bite.
Special thanks to our server, Jean, who was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, & made the evening feel extra special. The staff also surprised us with a sweet honeymoon dessert plate, which meant a lot.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a romantic or celebratory dinner in the city!
Hotel restos are more expensive as expected than regular restaurants. We knew that going in. However the food was disappointing. Escargot dish was not good. A simple butter garlic dish would be good. Making this dish fancy was a fail. Tenderloin was tender & a safe choice. Pasta was plain. Server was running around too many tables which distract from any calm fine dining experience.
Had a light night snack of Mac & cheese , shrimp cocktail & Fritz's . Then dessert . Dan provided attentive service . It was expensive but to be expected for a hotel restaurant

For the price of Sunday buffet ($88), I was expecting more than just salmon & tuna sashimi. There were also other food choices but mostly carb loaded (pizza, crepes, sushi roles, etc.)
The coffee was mediocre to say the best- orange juice is store bought (correct me if I'm wrong- but it's definitely not freshly pressed).
The service is arrogant & busy- overall it was disappointing.
Went for tea & had high expectations for a nice ladies' afternoon. The service was very slow. Our waiter was wearing his green union t-shirt & an apron - not the look you would expect. The water for the tea was not hot. The room on the 2nd floor where we were seated looked'tired'. The highlight was the food which was quite tasty but at a $200 price tag for 3 people (no alcohol, just tea) it was very disappointing. If you are looking for a high tea experience, I would recommend trying somewhere else.
