Hatte Frenchtoast mit Pecannüsse, eine riesige Portion, hab nicht mal die Hälfte geschafft. Sehr lecker. Die Whipped Creme war super. Großer Pot Kaffee
Went for the pecan pie French toast. Exceeded expectations. Most delicious breakfast ever!!! Bagel & homemade cream cheese was super yummy also. We actually ate there twice during our 4 days in Montreal. Superb both times. Awesome atmosphere, inside & out. We truly enjoyed both breakfasts here. Whether you need to or not, go to the restroom on the right. You're welcome. 😂
yea maybe it's a little overhyped & touristy but look at these french toasts. i have no complaints about the tiramisu 🙂↔️ only for how long i had to wait for it in line....so be prepared for that if you're going on a weekend
Wow .. my first breakfast in Montreal .. & the bar has been set very hight . Great food & amazing atmosphere. I had the "have it all" with scrambled eggs, French toast & pancakes. Oh .. the bacon & sausage .. to die for !! Great tasting everything My choice 💋👌🏼
Amazing first brunch in Montreal. The panko crusted French toast used for the SweetSavory+ Crunchy was so unique & delicious. I loved the honey orange glazed ham & the thickness of the emmental cheese was absolutely perfect. The portions were massive we couldn't finish at all! Also their hot sauce is so freaking good I wish they sold it !! Bonus for the cretons that reminded me of pâté! Iced latte was nice love the sugar rim so tasty (but warning it melts down the glass while sitting on patio becomes quite messy & sticky)
Boyfriend & I had a fabulous brunch experience at L'Avenue. The eclectic decor & delicious food, especially the pistachio & tiramisu French toast, definitely seem worth the wait. If you're looking for a trendy brunch spot in Montreal with a creative menu, L'Avenue sounds like a great option.
After watching a YouTube review of this place I made it a "Must Go" stop on this trip. The place did NOT disappoint. It's a smaller place & the tables are packed in there but that really helps set the atmosphere. It's loud. For anyone that's noise-a-phobic this one may trigger you but I found it great & could clearly hear the person I was with. The service was fast & they have no problem with English for the travellers in town that struggle with ordering in French. The food was great & you can watch it being prepared at the open counter. A very eclectic place to eat at & a must go for anyone serious about breakfast & brunch.
As far as I am concerned this was the best brunch & breakfast in North America. Periodt. I had the "I'll have it All" a few times & it's my favorite. Everything was wonderful, eggs, pancake, french toast & the bacon is cooked perfectly. The coffee was wonderful I had the "bowl" of latte. ONLY NEGATIVE - its not located in New York or closer to me
Omg... where do we start Delicous food great vibe, a little tight, long line during lunch but worth the wait. If coming early or late no line but right at lunch it will be a line down the street. It moves fast but come patient 😅 No reservations first come first serve. Me; tiramisu indecisive: my favorite thing were the potatoes, wow! I got guac in place of pork on plate, & I was full off the main items. The French toast was killer & melted in our mouths, only ate half of it & one small slice of multigrain bread. I got a pistachio latte... 🤤 I mean whatttttt yeah the food coma was real! My hubby got eggs Benedict steak & eggs; loved all the food but vibe was his favorite! The atmosphere was his thing 🥳 Needless to say this is a MUST when in Montreal 🫡 MY respects L'Avenue
We went here today for brunch at around 10-11am & it was quite an experience. The initial wait was tough probably 25-30 minutes on a cold, windy, Saturday in Montreal but once we got in we were welcomed with warmth from the staff. The food was amazing & the portions were quite nice for the price. We had the Indecisive with strawberry & pistachio flavored french toast & we also ordered the duck with black truffle eggs benedict. It was all flavorful & I was pleasantly surprised with the experience. Everything was great but the thing I loved the most was the potatoes because they were cooked & seasoned with proper attention that you don't usually have with most breakfast/brunch restaurants.
The French toast Tiramisu, accompanied by a matcha latte, is a gastronomic masterpiece. The espresso-infused layers of French toast, draped in creamy mascarpone, blend seamlessly with the matcha latte's subtle bitterness. Customer service was great. The only thing I have to say is it's better to bring four people max.
Extraordinarily good food, both savory & sweet. The shakshuka, the French toast, & the Benedicts were all exquisite, & the portions were more than we could finish. The weekend lines were very long, but we came early on a weekday & were seated without a wait.
Great breakfast spot! The food & service was excellent! Really enjoyed our breakfast. The lemon ricotta pancakes & tiramisu French toast were so tasty. Will definitely be coming back to eat here again!
Such a fun place with terrific food. Don't miss the truffle duck Benedict & banana French toast

My boyfriend & I saw this restaurant featured on "You Gotta Eat Here" & had to try it. We were not disappointed! Absolutely incredible & lives up to all the hype. He ordered the "Bobby Visite L'Espagne" & I had the eggs benedict "Sucre-Sale-Croustillant". My boyfriends meal was 3 eggs served on top of potatoes with chorizo sausage, spinach, & mushrooms. My meal...wow. Seriously wow. It was the epitome of gluttony. Two thick cut slices of french toast coated in panko bread crumbs before frying, served soaked in maple syrup with two eggs, gruyere cheese & hollandaise sauce. I was starving but definitely could not finish this meal. But each bite was total heaven.
I can't wait to go back. They have an extensive menu with lots of unique & delicious choices. This is my new favourite breakfast spot!
