I ordered the'Bobby Explores Japan' & honestly found the name a little confusing. The dish includes kimchi, hoisin mayo, chili crisp & Asian coleslaw, so the overall flavor felt much more like a general Asian fusion dish than anything particularly Japanese.

Unfortunately, the taste didn't work for me either. It was overwhelmingly salty & sweet at the same time, with so many different sauces & flavors competing with each other. I was expecting something with a more recognizable Japanese flavor profile based on the name, but this was quite far from that.

Great breakfast ideas, exceptional food & nicely portioned. Potatoes are on the oily side. Decent cup of coffee. The place is a bit loud, if you want a nice cosy breakfast this ain't the place.

Les meilleurs oeufs Bénédictines! J'ai pris le St-Ambroise & saumon fumé & wow. Le mélange des saveurs recherchés, ça fait du bien d'avoir autant de saveur dans un déjeuner.
Petite suggestion: les demi-portion pour enfant car c'est tellement gros !

Bien mais ne prend pas AMEX. Aucun problème avec ça pour les petits commerces qui doivent encaisser le fardeau des commissions mais très ordinaire pour une chaîne comme l'Avenue.

Good, but doesn't take AMEX. No problem with that for small businesses having to absorb the commission fees, but pretty tacky for a chain like l'Avenue.

During our trip to Montreal, our friend took us to this restaurant for brunch, & we absolutely loved it! Everything was delicious, the portions were huge, & the presentation was beautiful. The food, service, & overall experience were excellent. Definitely a place worth visiting in Montreal! ❤?
