dim sum(26) chinese(19) dishes(12) chicken(11) fresh(10) fried(9) busy(9) parking(7) group(7) noodle(7) quick(7) family(7)Had a good experience at Imperial Dim Sum. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, & came out hot. Service was smooth & the place felt comfortable. Prices are a bit higher than other dim sum spots, but the quality is there. Still a nice treat once in a while.
Very good! I was always disappointed with the dimsum options in montréal but this was very good. Sadly it's quite expensive but that's my only comment. The Charsiu BBQ buns are to die for !
The service wasn't bad, they were not rude, but I don't think you should have to run after the server for a glass of water. Don't order the beef. The texture was rubber like & the server said that because they give big portions, they couldn't garantie good quality of the meat. The general tao was alright, not the best. Dumplings were good.
Great place with plenty of parking & excellent service.
The food is underwhelming & bland however. Underseasoned is an understatement.
We had Dimsum & it was generally ok.
The chicken feet were good.
The dumplings seemed starchy & bland.
The hot & sour soup was neither hot or sour - easily fixed.
Fried stuff was ok.
Overall it is a repeat for us based on the fantastic service.
Good but not great.
Very good food, great choice. Lovely atmosphere. Sometimes waiters are hard to come by because they service soo many people so getting water refilled or if you are missing a dish it could takes little while. Still great overall.
I'm glad this place exist outside of Chinatown. Great food. Delicious! ❤? They have an easy way to order. Use their app. Scan the QR code, read the vast menu & select.
Wish I could eat there every weekend for Dim Sum but then again, maybe I will 😉
Third time here. The last time I went, it was for a party, the restaurant was able to accommodate around 50-60 people. However, one thing I would suggest is to have a separate section for larger groups (similar to Olympia Restaurant on St Jean) so we're not all packed up together.
My nephew had recommended this place as he'd been a couple of times before. So we met up with him for Dim Sum Dec. 28/25. We arrived there at 10:15 am which was a good time because before knew it the place was packed--& that's noteworthy because there is a lot of seating there!
Staff were super friendly & attentive making you feel that your really appreciated as a customer.
Orders were made using a cell phone & it wasn't long before piping hot food started to be served at our table along with green tea & Chinese beer for me. Every was well prepared & tasted great. It had been quite a few years since we'd enjoyed Dim Sum & we were not disappointed. Everything was fresh & hot & delicious & we'll certainly be back in the future.
Take out food was over one hour late from time app told me to show up. The food itself? Sesame beef was awful. Not crunchy & the beef was very questionable. Cantonese chow mein was so-so. Big chunks, but not very fresh. The pork dumplings were okay. Extremely over-priced & the wait made it a complete negative experience. Avoid!!
Food is always fresh & delicious! There can be a bit of a wait when it's busy, but the staff works incredibly hard & are always friendly!
Dim Sum is a great way to catch up with friends. It's a meal that can last a few hours while you eat small bites. Only issue, this place does not serve small bites. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, it's good. The only thing is you dont have as much of a selection.
We ordered 5 different dishes.
1) #103- Sticky Rice with Chicken, Pork & Shrimp. You get 2 in an order. They are huge & delicious with a hidden surprise in the middle. Would I order it again? Absolutely.
2) #109- BBQ Pork Bao. You get 3 in an order. They too are huge. Light & fluffy with a tiny bit of sweet BBQ pork in the middle. Would I order it again? Probably Not.
3) #120- Shrimp & Scallop Dumplings. Here you get 4 bite size pieces. Stuffed with seafood goodness. Would I order it again? 💯
4) #102- SiuMai. You get 4 huge ones in an order. Loaded with a mix of juicy pork & shrimp with a thin wrapper hugging the filling. Would I order it again? Yes.
5) #301- Rice Pasta Roll with Fried Shrimp. Two cut up rolls were in the ordere. OMG. This was the best dish we ordered. The rice pasta was filled with a tempura type fried shrimp & there were some kind of a deep fried thin thin noodle inside as well & all was covered in a light soya sauce. Would I order it again? 1000%
Now for the rest...the decor is simple. Mostly large tables but they do have ones for 2's & 4's.
The process is simple. You place your order on the website, the waiter will explain what to do, once you scan the QR code provided with your table number. Then, using g a rolling cart, your foodbis delivered. Not all at the same time, but that's OK. You dont want your food to get cold.
Because the restaurant is so large, we were not rushed to vacate our table. We sat & were able to digest.
By the way, when you sit down, you are immediately served a big potion delicious tea.
Would I go back for Dim Sum? Absolutely. Would I try the traditional Chinese food? Not sure
sure
Restaurant was busy service was great the food was fresh served hot
Food was the Closest thing to China town
I highly recommend 👌🏻
Xmas take out lunch, ordered 10 items, one plate was missing, other plate came with burnt noodles, 25.95$...Good job on messing up a Xmas lunch..Very bad on quantity too...
We were very disappointed with the food. Seafood menus for 6. Tasteless a bland.
The handicap bathroom didn't work out for a wheelchair user. Far too small with a far too low toilet & not adequate handles. My husband struggled & had to call for help.
The handicap parking was occupied by uber drivers.
Poor service, very bad - too bad there aren't more options in the West Island for Chinese food.
First time customer & probably the last.
Went for supper with my wife.
The hot & sour soup was watery
there was no substance to the soup.
The main meal can on the table before we were half way through or soup.
We ordered Sichuan shrimp & received salt & pepper shrimp.
We also ordered beef with garlic.
The meat was tough & not enjoyable.
They are expensive & not worth the money paid.
There are many better choices in the West Island.
Very dissatisfied.
