We did an event here. We know that food is good but we got disappointed. The soup & fish was very stinky, & the fried rice was very salty. Also, the head server is very rude.
I ask for fried seafood rice & I get kinda rice glutinous instead, they said it is fried rice. It's not the first time there. Since I was there waiting for the rest of my order that never came I check if I did a mistake. Not service at all. Went to get my own fork & my to take out. Service awful 😖 😱
A full dim sum spread, built for indulgence.
Silky shrimp dumplings, juicy siu mai crowned with roe, crispy spring rolls, tender rice noodle rolls glazed in soy, golden fried squid, braised ribs, & sticky chicken feet, all steaming in bamboo baskets, ready to share.
Every bite: soft, crisp, savory, rich. The kind of table that disappears faster than you expect. 🥢 #RestaurantImperial #Montreal

Great place with plenty of parking & excellent service.
The food is underwhelming & bland however. Underseasoned is an understatement.
We had Dimsum & it was generally ok.
The chicken feet were good.
The dumplings seemed starchy & bland.
The hot & sour soup was neither hot or sour - easily fixed. Fried stuff was ok.
Overall it is a repeat for us based on the fantastic service.
Good but not great.
Dim Sum is a great way to catch up with friends. It's a meal that can last a few hours while you eat small bites. Only issue, this place does not serve small bites. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, it's good. The only thing is you dont have as much of a selection.
We ordered 5 different dishes.
1) #103- Sticky Rice with Chicken, Pork & Shrimp. You get 2 in an order. They are huge & delicious with a hidden surprise in the middle. Would I order it again? Absolutely.
2) #109- BBQ Pork Bao. You get 3 in an order. They too are huge. Light & fluffy with a tiny bit of sweet BBQ pork in the middle. Would I order it again? Probably Not.
3) #120- Shrimp & Scallop Dumplings. Here you get 4 bite size pieces. Stuffed with seafood goodness. Would I order it again? 💯
4) #102- SiuMai. You get 4 huge ones in an order. Loaded with a mix of juicy pork & shrimp with a thin wrapper hugging the filling. Would I order it again? Yes.
5) #301- Rice Pasta Roll with Fried Shrimp. Two cut up rolls were in the ordere. OMG. This was the best dish we ordered. The rice pasta was filled with a tempura type fried shrimp & there were some kind of a deep fried thin thin noodle inside as well & all was covered in a light soya sauce. Would I order it again? 1000%
Now for the rest...the decor is simple. Mostly large tables but they do have ones for 2's & 4's.
The process is simple. You place your order on the website, the waiter will explain what to do, once you scan the QR code provided with your table number. Then, using g a rolling cart, your foodbis delivered. Not all at the same time, but that's OK. You dont want your food to get cold.
Because the restaurant is so large, we were not rushed to vacate our table. We sat & were able to digest.
By the way, when you sit down, you are immediately served a big potion delicious tea.
Would I go back for Dim Sum? Absolutely. Would I try the traditional Chinese food? Not sure
sure
I really loved Taro fried & chicken feet especially also baby squid . I order a lot & loved nearly every plate . But having only one sauce cup for all people at table might not be a great idea 💡
Went in the evening - it wasn't too busy & the food came out quickly, which made it a convenient spot for dinner. The decor was nice & neat.
The fish maw soup was light & had a nice flavor. The Japanese tofu & eggplant casserole was not bad. However, the dishes overall were a bit on the salty side: the Buddhist vegetables & the dry-fried beef with rice noodles were quite average. As for dessert, the jello was way too sweet.
That said, the service was great - the staff were friendly & attentive, which made the experience more pleasant.
Went on a busy Saturday night for a friend's birthday dinner. Food was great. Had the not so staple dishes like Chicken w Fried Spinach, Eggplant & Tofu Casserole, Szechuan Shrimps, Beef Horfun. Brought a cake & they even served it w a candle & some plates. Our servers tried to be attentive but I guess there were just a lot of people. when we got attention, he was very courteous.
