The quality seems to have dropped since they opened. General Tso with too much breading & the pad thai had chopped up rice noodles rather than long noodles - very disappointing
I ordered delivery. This has happened before where the noodles from the flat beef noodles dish arrived like this, which is unacceptable. Noodles were soggy & in many little peices.

Had the ABSOLUTE WORST experience yesterday afternoon! Went in at 14h15 for a quick late lunch… scanned the QR code that they provided to order the Daily Lunch Special for $8.95, the Cantonese-Style Crispy Noodles. Five minutes later, a waiter comes up to tell me there's no more. I asked, what do you mean there's no more… lunch is from 10h00 to 15h00?? He said the manager stopped the special as it is Lunar New Year Week. I retorted by pointing out that New Year's Day is tomorrow, not today! I asked to speak to the Owner which he refused, I demanded to speak to the Manager… as I waited, the couple at the table next to me expressed the same exasperation ordering the same daily special today. The manager (pictured below) refused to honor their special clearly available to order on their menu system & refused to allow me to speak with the Owner. He threw me out of the restaurant as I voiced that I would make a complaint to the Head Office at the Brossard location, go on Social Media to share their unethical business practices & file a formal complaint with the OPC!!
This establishment has been less than stellar since the very beginning during their soft opening when menu items were unavailable to order, short staff both in the kitchen & dining room, extremely long waits for your orders to be served, very unprofessional management team including but not limited to the Manager pictured below! & to top it off, their food isn't even anything special, bland taste at best…
Dim Sum is a great way to catch up with friends. It's a meal that can last a few hours while you eat small bites. Only issue, this place does not serve small bites. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, it's good. The only thing is you dont have as much of a selection.
We ordered 5 different dishes.
1) #103- Sticky Rice with Chicken, Pork & Shrimp. You get 2 in an order. They are huge & delicious with a hidden surprise in the middle. Would I order it again? Absolutely.
2) #109- BBQ Pork Bao. You get 3 in an order. They too are huge. Light & fluffy with a tiny bit of sweet BBQ pork in the middle. Would I order it again? Probably Not.
3) #120- Shrimp & Scallop Dumplings. Here you get 4 bite size pieces. Stuffed with seafood goodness. Would I order it again? 💯
4) #102- SiuMai. You get 4 huge ones in an order. Loaded with a mix of juicy pork & shrimp with a thin wrapper hugging the filling. Would I order it again? Yes.
5) #301- Rice Pasta Roll with Fried Shrimp. Two cut up rolls were in the ordere. OMG. This was the best dish we ordered. The rice pasta was filled with a tempura type fried shrimp & there were some kind of a deep fried thin thin noodle inside as well & all was covered in a light soya sauce. Would I order it again? 1000%
Now for the rest...the decor is simple. Mostly large tables but they do have ones for 2's & 4's.
The process is simple. You place your order on the website, the waiter will explain what to do, once you scan the QR code provided with your table number. Then, using g a rolling cart, your foodbis delivered. Not all at the same time, but that's OK. You dont want your food to get cold.
Because the restaurant is so large, we were not rushed to vacate our table. We sat & were able to digest.
By the way, when you sit down, you are immediately served a big potion delicious tea.
Would I go back for Dim Sum? Absolutely. Would I try the traditional Chinese food? Not sure

Xmas take out lunch, ordered 10 items, one plate was missing, other plate came with burnt noodles, 25.95$...Good job on messing up a Xmas lunch..Very bad on quantity too...
Beef chow fun was smoky & flavorful, seafood crispy noodles had perfect crunch with rich seafood sauce, chicken feet were tender & well-seasoned, & the seafood tofu soup was comforting & full of fresh flavor. Generous portions & authentic, worth a visit!
It was my first visit to Restaurant Imperial in the DDO Mega Mall & I was impressed by the warm greeting & the welcoming atmosphere. We ordered the Hot & Sour Soup & Peanut Butter Dumplings & they arrived quickly. They were fresh & delicious. We also ordered Crispy Noodle Black Pepper Sauce Beef on Sizzling Plate, Peanut Butter Chicken Crispy Spinach & General Tao Chicken. The food was fresh & tasty & the service was impeccable. Will definitely visit again. This has become my favourite West Island Chinese restaurant.

-Duck was awesome & delicious.
-Chicken with bone was awesome.
-Noodles were broken & not really tasty, it missed seasoning.
-Chopsticks made of plastic are not appealing or appropriate, the restaurant could do better on this.
Can't say it's my favourite Chinese restaurant but it is definitely the best in the West Island so far. Not many resto make Chinese dishes that this place offers. Dim sum is good. Their rice & noodle dishes are also very good.
