Excellent food despite a limited choice on the menu. Entrees & main course were excellent so was the wine. First sitting stats early & gives you only two hours to complete your meal. We were a bit surprise to get our entrees relatively quickly but the main course was served a full hour after sitting giving us only one hour to finish our meal including dessert/coffe & sip our wine while having discussions with friends. Overall a good experience, good food, service & wine selection, if only a bit pricy.View more

We were the last seating at 7:45 therefore one of the main courses (duck confit risotto) was a little dry but overall the food was excellent as has been our experience in the past. Great service & good atmosphere, even with a picture frame falling off the wall just behind my wife.View more

Belle déco, mais le service pourrait être un peu plus sympathique. Quoique le proprio m'a rappelé suite à mon commentaire, donc on voit que ça lui tient à coeur & j'ajoute une étoile.
La nourriture était ok, rien de WoW, quoique la Salade de chorizo en entrée était vraiment bien. Le tartare de boeuf en plat principal était bien, celui au saumon était très acide.
J'ai été déçue par le fondant au chocolat. Une mini quenelle de crème glacée commerciale avec un fondant de la grosseur d'un two bit pour 15$, cela a terminé notre souper pour 2 à 220$ sur une plutôt note décevante.
Je leur conseille de revoir leur offre pour les desserts.View more

Déçue de notre 1ere visite nos attentes étaient élevées mais malheureusement ce n'était pas à la hauteur. Pas vraiment un bon endroit pour un souper en amoureux car vraiment très bruyant & petit. Plus adapté pour une souper entres amis. Rien de super pour le souper pour le prix. Très ordinaire. Le service était bien par contre. On n'est peut-être pas tombée sur une bonne soirée ou le meilleur menu.View more

Food & service were absolutely exquisite. I was served by Victoria. She was very approachable & happily catered to a substitution request that I had (add shrimp to their mushroom risotto). The fish cake appetizer & risotto were both absolutely exquisite & their presentation was very professional. The restaurant was pretty full when I got there but I was able to get a spot pretty soon. Well worth the drive from Montreal to eat.View more

While the chef is well-trained, as his vanity wall at the entrance can attest to, the choice & quality of ingredients are not what one would expect. Drinks & choice of alcohol were limited, according to the hostess. No choice of vodka, no choice of bottled water. The acoustics make the restaurant very loud & it's difficult to maintain conversations. Unfortunately the service does not get much better, as the hostess refuses to speak English & makes guests feel unwelcome in our own town. She insisted on being present throughout service, which was unnecessary considering her refusal to accommodate us. We expect much more from a business that decides to open in our community. Especially one that charges us $100 per person. Response to the owner: thank you for expressing your regret for our unfortunate experiences. A little correction: the English are found in England. We are anglophone Quebecers.View more
