Ramen Isshin Anjou is a solid spot to satisfy a ramen craving, especially if you're already in the area & looking for something warm & filling. Located inside a mall, it's very convenient to access, & one of the biggest advantages is the abundance of parking. You don't have to worry about finding a spot, which is a big plus compared to many other places in Montréal.
The highlight of the visit was definitely the ramen itself. The portions are generous, with big bowls that feel hearty & satisfying. The broth was rich & comforting, & the noodles had a good texture that held up well. It's the kind of meal that feels substantial, especially if you're coming in hungry. The overall quality makes it a reliable choice for ramen lovers.
In addition to ramen, I tried the seafood crepe & octopus. Both added some variety to the meal & made the experience a bit more interesting. The seafood crepe had a nice balance of flavors, while the octopus was a good savory option to complement the main dish. It's great that the menu offers more than just ramen, giving you the chance to mix & match different items.
That said, one downside is the seating situation. Because it's located in a mall, there aren't many dedicated seating spots, & it can feel a bit limited during busier times. You may have to wait or look around for a place to sit, which can take away slightly from the overall dining experience, especially if you're hoping for a more relaxed meal.
The atmosphere is more casual & functional rather than cozy, but that's expected given the location. It works well for a quick lunch or dinner while shopping, though it may not be the best choice if you're planning a long sit-down meal.
Overall, Ramen Isshin Anjou delivers on taste & portion size, with the added convenience of easy parking. While the limited seating is a drawback, the quality of the food & the variety on the menu make it worth a visit.
New ramen place in Galerie d'Anjou. I tried the burnt garlic shoyu ramen. Broth is concentrated & thick. It is too salty to my liking but it's good nevertheless. We went to the Brossard branch & it tastes the same so they are consistent.
Packaged meticulously for take out. (Broth, noodles & seaweed are packed separately).
Newly opened Ramen place, very tasty & rich broths. Noodles were had a nice chew & great service!
Delicious ramen with rich broth & fresh toppings. Cozy atmosphere & friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.
