Ramen Isshin means One Heart One Ramen. Bringing you true authentic Ramen to the city of Toronto. Our happiness is your happiness & we always want to make you smile.
We offer a variety of bowls that are very unique in flavours, textures and taste. We want you to have our "Isshin" experience and leave satisfied & always smiling!
Our signature Ramen is our Wok Fried Red Miso Ramen. Every bowl starts in the wok. A generous handful of veggies mixed with our signature blend of red & white miso, sake and other seasonings are fired up. Tonkotsu broth is added and brought to a piping hot temperature, this is then poured over a fresh bed of noodles. This process melds all the flavours perfectly together to give it that unique Isshin taste.
Offering exotic Ramen's like Tsukemen aka Dipping Ramen, our famous Black Sesame Tan Tan Noodle and our White Sesame Shio Ramen is what also set's us apart from the other shops in town.
We also pride ourselves also on our large selection of Vegetarian Ramens as well as our awesomeappetizer list.
Ramen Isshin draws praise for rich, flavorful broths and a broad menu that includes spicy miso, red dragon, red miso, shoyu, and sesame black varieties, with many noting an appealing atmosphere and friendly service, plus the convenience of a self service ordering system. The restaurant is appreciated for offering vegetarian ramen in the east of Montreal and for tasting experiences that make it feel like a fresh addition to the area, with several reviews calling it among the best ramen in Montreal. Yet several critiques surface: some bowls are described as having too little meat or being overly salty, and a few dishes such as chicken karaage are noted as not tender enough; service can vary and a few diners report mix ups with orders or customer service issues. Price is occasionally mentioned as high for portion sizes, and a few readers mention that the look and feel differ between locations. Still, many say they plan to return to try other flavors and that the overall experience remains positive.

Très belle expérience chez Ramen Ichin à la Galerie d'Anjou.
J'ai pris le shio sésame blanc, c'était très bon & bien exécuté.
Service attentionné, la personne à la prise de commande était vraiment gentille.
Ambiance calme & restaurant propre, bien tenu.
Ramen Isshin Anjou is a solid spot to satisfy a ramen craving, especially if you're already in the area & looking for something warm & filling. Located inside a mall, it's very convenient to access, & one of the biggest advantages is the abundance of parking. You don't have to worry about finding a spot, which is a big plus compared to many other places in Montréal.
The highlight of the visit was definitely the ramen itself. The portions are generous, with big bowls that feel hearty & satisfying. The broth was rich & comforting, & the noodles had a good texture that held up well. It's the kind of meal that feels substantial, especially if you're coming in hungry. The overall quality makes it a reliable choice for ramen lovers.
In addition to ramen, I tried the seafood crepe & octopus. Both added some variety to the meal & made the experience a bit more interesting. The seafood crepe had a nice balance of flavors, while the octopus was a good savory option to complement the main dish. It's great that the menu offers more than just ramen, giving you the chance to mix & match different items.
That said, one downside is the seating situation. Because it's located in a mall, there aren't many dedicated seating spots, & it can feel a bit limited during busier times. You may have to wait or look around for a place to sit, which can take away slightly from the overall dining experience, especially if you're hoping for a more relaxed meal.
The atmosphere is more casual & functional rather than cozy, but that's expected given the location. It works well for a quick lunch or dinner while shopping, though it may not be the best choice if you're planning a long sit-down meal.
Overall, Ramen Isshin Anjou delivers on taste & portion size, with the added convenience of easy parking. While the limited seating is a drawback, the quality of the food & the variety on the menu make it worth a visit.
Very tasty, wish for the price the soups were bigger & more meat options. Great greeting & explanations. Nice & New place but simple grab & eat. Happy to have a ramen place close to the house. I just find a little expensive for the size... 50-60$ for 2 soups with very little meat... That's not cheap... Wish they find a cheaper local to make it more affordable to go now often hi hi
Excellent ramen! I had the Red Dragon & while it was super spicy, it was totally delicious. Pleasant service too. Happy to finally have a Ramen resto in the east end.
Finally, something new in the area. You gotta order on the machine yourself, & when your buzzer goes off, you pick up your food. The food was alright, just a bit salty.
