pub(149) drink(120) pie(114) recommend(93) chicken(65) cocktail(61) brunch(57) vibe(52) highly recommend(47) beer(46) beautiful(44) burger(42)Hands down the best experience we've had in Montreal. Angi, our server, & Margo were absolutely amazing-both incredibly knowledgeable about the menu & spot-on with their recommendations. The food was outstanding; the chefs truly know what they're doing. & the drinks? Perfectly made & nice & stiff. We'll definitely be back.
Food looked very tasty, drinks a bit overpriced, but solid enough. My friend & I both felt weird after having our drinks; not a normal liquor reaction but some weird chest feeling.
Perfect burger, amazing duck egg, great service, good beer & a really nice cocktail. What else do you need?
Great place for a drink & some food with friends or family.
Un pub bien agréable l'hiver, avec un service attentionné & une très bonne cuisine. Nous y sommes retournés dès le lendemain. Essayez le chicken pot pie, un must !
5 for lunch, third time going there… it's a pub, pub fare, pedestrian, our server was awesome, mushroom soup excellent, hard for us to find something on menu to work with.. over $300 for lunch & there are far better options in the area at the same price point. Amazed how busy it is, usually a wait time, location is the primary draw.
Excellent place. Great bartenders & a very friendly clientele.
Hands down the BEST pub in Montreal, & quite possibly Eastern Canada. Superb atmosphere. Vibes are exceptional thanks to the staff, & the owners have clearly put a ton of thought & love into making this a true pub experience. Whoever runs this place, you're crushing it. Can't wait to go back!
Excellent breakfast offerings. Iced tea was also quite tasty 😋
I never leave bad reviews, but this place was awful. Nicely decorated place but the waitress was rude from the get-go. We were a party of four, two of us were having the same thing & when they brought out the food mine was missing, after five minutes I asked if mine was coming & with a terrible attitude, she said she thought we were sharing. Mistakes happen but at least be polite about it. When we asked for another drink, she rolled her eyes. I was going to say something to the manager on the way out about the rude waitress, but then I heard the manager complaining to a different waitress that my son was taking too long to help his aunt on with her coat, so they're all like it. I kicked myself later for leaving a tip, creature of habit I suppose. There's plenty of restaurants in Montreal, why pay for mediocre food & terrible service...
Beautiful pub, friendly staff & amazing pies!!! We were lucky to order the last stroganoff pie of the night, which was to die for!!! The chicken one was also incredible.
Also, good thing we had a reservation because it was packed inside!!
Absolutely recommended!!!!was there afternoon like around 13, many other places around were ether closed or no alcohol, coffee etc...we decided it was best discovery so far! By the way place is usually full, so it's possible you wait like 5-10 min before they host you.if you'd like to feel the atmosphere of British pub, with absolutely delicious & unique meals, good selection of British beers, cocktails & be surprised that prices are only so good... ?t's definitely the right place to visit!!!🔥🔥🔥
By the way it was nice to feel that you are not forgotten, personnel were so attentive & friendly, so many pleasant memories we've got! Thank you!!!
Proper Pie - beef stroganoff - didn't want it to end... Yum yum. My wife had the Chicken Pot Pie, full of chicken flavor, great pastry - one of the best. The Bitter was a good pint. Great music! Just go!
Service pretty rude on arrival. They misheard'two burgers' as'split a burger' so one of our party went without food, which they didn't apologise for. Not a great first impression of Montreal.
I've been a loyal customer at Wolf & Workman for quite some time, but my experience last night was disappointing enough to really reconsider returning.
We arrived around 6:30 PM & were seated without any mention of a time limit on our table. We had a couple of beers & our dinner, enjoying our evening as usual. But immediately after we finished eating, the waiter came over & abruptly told us they'really needed the table.' We were a bit surprised but still trying to finish our drinks. Within a couple of minutes, he returned, pressuring us again to leave before my friend even had a chance to finish her drink.
I get that it was busy, but as regulars, we would have appreciated a heads-up or at least a bit more courtesy. Being rushed out like that really left a sour taste. Hopefully, the management can handle this kind of situation more gracefully in the future.
Great Place ... Very Comfortable Atmosphere & Excellent Food & Drink
The *friendliest*staff, decent prices, & nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
This place is a great experience & one of the finer Pubs in Montreal. This is a must visit for locals & travelers!
The way the atmosphere hits the right pub vibe. Small, cozy, friendly, & expansive. The wood finish & the lighting gives a sense like you have been going there your whole life.
The service was very friendly, super fast, & helpful. Our waiter understood we only spoke English & that was no problem on their end.
The food was outstanding & very creative! Arancini to start is the way to go as they were tasty, creamy, & hearty. The Chicken Pot pie was super hot but it was delicious. The seafood pasta was very fresh & filling. The presentation & portion size was near perfect. The drinks were mixed to perfection. The mixology is top tier here.
The prices are above average but worth every bit.
Overall, Pub Wolf & Workman is an amazing place to have a bite to eat or watch a futball game with the regulars that go there. This is a hometown pub up & down.
