What a great way to start our Canadian adventures!
We stumbled across the pub by chance walking through the old town of Montreal & were immediately grabbed by it's charm & welcoming atmosphere.
We were lucky to get a lovely table in the middle with views of the TV (for the FIFA World Cup) & really enjoyed the friendly Service & amazing food & Drink.
Great pub food in the English pub tradition.
Cocktails are delicious. Try the Pimm's Mule or the Ninja Turtle!
good place. nice happy hour, friendly staff, pretty good food for a pub, etc. hope to go back weekend I am in town.
Love this place, only good experiences so far. They have a limited vegetarian menu, but the Mezza dish with falafel & hummus is excellent ( I am a falafel hater, & it is only one of two that I have ever found acceptable to good) the rest of my family though goes for the pot pies. Not just DELICIOUS, but beautiful to behold. Our waitress this last time was fantastic. Helpful & friendly but unobtrusive. Nice cream ale to top off the pub vibe.
Truly charming pub serving great food with warm & friendly service.
Great English pub in the heart of Old Montreal. Been there multiple times & was never disappointed. & their pot pies are to die for!
The Wolf & Workman in Montreal has that homely, lived?in warmth that makes you settle in the moment you walk through the door. The fantastic staff keep the place buzzing - genuinely friendly, quick on their feet, & always ready with a recommendation. The chicken pot pie deserves its own spotlight. It's huge, golden, flakey pastry & deeply comforting, with a filling that's thoroughly tasty from first bite to last. Exactly the kind of dish that makes a pub feel like a second home.
We met English friends in Montreal & so decided to find an English pub for old times sake. Google maps offered me the Wolf & Workman as the nearest hit. We had a great lunch, but I would comment that the menu is not English Pub & there was only one bitter & Guinness on tap, both of which I was ok with, but mention it in case you are really looking for that English pub experience.
