Accidentally pass by this place, menu made me go in for a bite
The flavour actually quite impressive 😊very authentic Chinese dishes but also accommodating to some local palate 😌
Ordered the braised pork with quill egg + spicy cabbage, very satisfied with the taste
Would probably come back & try some more dishes 😌

Delicious northern Chinese dishes, with varied flavours & spicing, with occasional accents of Szechewan peppers. The owners, including their professionally trained chef son, were welcoming & try hard to please (MSG: yes or no, your choice.)
The house specialty chicken legs & the ginger pork were memorable. Try the twice fried shrimps as well, you will likely not be disappointed if you like tempuras.
A favourite vegetable dish was the spicy cauliflower.

Not a generic average Chinese restaurant, but something special! Family owned & very friendly. Excellent dishes with a wide range of delightful flavours. An experience out of the ordinary!

This was an absolute shocker! Outstanding plates with unique & fabulous flavours! This was our first visit but we will certainly be back. The service was great, all the staff are super friendly & efficient. Thank you for a wonderful taste experience, Hong Mere!

The ma po tofu & fried rice were very nice. The other dishes were too much batter, barely any meat & not very similar as the pictures on the menu. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy the orange beef & crispy pork, they were both too sweet & not balanced in flavours.

I'm so happy I discovered this place through one of my best friends last year. Whether it's your classic North American Chinese classics or more authentic Chinese dishes, the flavours are fantastic. Their portions are also very generous considering how affordable it is. I've been once in person & taken out twice. & each time the food was spectacular.

Good food for good prices. Authentic flavours. The pad Thai has petrified something. So not my thing, but authentic. Service is definitely present. Just not western.
