I ordered some foods via uber eats, unlike previous times they didn't meet my expectation. Particularly, sweet & sour pork ginger thing was so poorly cooked with a thick coating on lean pork. It was so hard that I could hardly chew. So I called up the restaurant to complain it. It didn't go well either. He didn't seem to understand what I am complaining about & started yelling at me & explaining in a language that I didn't understand what he was really talking about. I would never take orders from this restaurant.

A old lady more than 70 years old work at the hot kitchen, but this is owners mother? So terrible. I dont need to know english, this is Quebec. Speaking English means knowing that you may not necessarily understand French.

Plats de Pates Hong Mere est un resto familial/amical qui sert de la cuisine chinoise du Nord (proche des stations de metro LaSalle & de L'Eglise ligne verte STM) dans la ville de Verdun. Pour tous ceux qui adorent des plats chinois epices, ce resto merite plusieurs visites. Il faut absolument appeler pour une reservation car c'est tres occupe. Il existe aussi des plats non-epices mais tres peu. Je vous conseille fortement de commander mes plats preferes : nouilles froides @ la sauce sesame & tofus panes sautes @ l'aubergine avec porc emince. Merci pour le bel accueil & service de l'equipe. Mme Hong est la cheffe de cuisine & patronne de ce resto. Elle est tres chaleureuse. @ chaque visite, elle va sortir de sa cuisine pour saluer ses clients & leur demander de partager leurs commentaires. Elle est tres souriante & @ l'ecoute de ses clients. Elle travaille tres fort. Felicitations du succes de son resto. Allez l'encourager. Au plaisir, Missy A.

Waited over an hour for my plate, had my wife & three kids out for her birthday, they all got to eat, I didn't, just got up paid for the food they enjoyed, the server proposed that I should take out my plate once it is ready, talking about service!

Our family keeps coming back because the food is very good, the plates are generous & not expensive. We appreciate the BYOB possibility. The staff are very friendly & attentive. The dining room was almost full on a Friday night, which is a good sign! Even so, the noise level was okay & it subsided thru the evening. The fluorescent lighting is not too inviting but food beats atmosphere here!

Un bijoux à découvrir. Cuisine Chinoise authentique tout est frais. & les dumplings sont divins. Toujours fidèle à la qualité.

Arrived roughly an hour before kitchen closed & was informed we would not be able to sit & eat as a result & would have to take out (we were three people). That was fine with us. We were handed a menu to choose what to order. Problem started however when we began looking at the menu & not even a minute later a waiter rudely stood over our shoulder asking what we wanted. When we asked for a few minutes more he replied that he'd give us recommendations & started flipping the menu over to show us things while it was still in our hands. The whole five minutes we were there felt like a big inconvenience for him.

Food overall once received was quite good, nice & flavorful chicken & yummy rice. Good food just a disappointing experience with the one waiter.
