Very big portion, the noodles were thick & tasty, & the broth was refreshing. The chicken pieces were a little too fatty for my taste, but cooked perfectly. The lady that served me was very helpful & kind, & the vietnamese coffee was lovely!
Friendly service. Got the B2. Was very happy they didn't look it bean sprouts in their Pho. Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk was delicious. Nice space.
Possiblement la meilleure soupe vietnamienne que j'ai mangée depuis le Vietnam!
We sought out Pho Anh on a rainy miserable night, & were not disappointed. Service was excellent, the single server running hither & yon to look after everybody. She was cheerful, friendly, professional & so very sweet & kind. Our dinner was fantastic, & the pho took us back to our visits to Vietnam. Pho differs from region to region in Vietnam, so this pho is different than what we have in Vancouver, but it was fantastic! Very flavourful, courtesy of the high quality ingredients & the broth that cooks for three days. The pork & chicken & rice dish was equally excellent. One of the best Vietnamese restaurant experiences we have ever had, & we'd heartily recommend Pho Anh if you are in Montreal.
Quiet little Vietnamese place serving absolutely the BEST PHO EVER. I usually love the beef broth but the owner convinced me to try the chicken broth special they have going on right now. It is light, full of flavour & I honestly did not want to stop eating. I have no pics since the food was devoured the minute it came to my table. Will definitely be going back. Also a new winter favourite now.
Unbelievable Pho!! The amount of work the chef puts into the execution of the food & its quality shows!! Such a wild blend of flavors & textures that compliment each other so perfectly. The chef came to our table & took the time to educate us on traditional cooking methods. The Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk is a MUST TRY! 12/10
Absolutely incredible food & hospitality. Anh made us feel right at home & shared his love of food with our whole group. Anyone in Montreal looking for great North Vietnamese food should stop by.
Great Pho & very warm atmosphere. The chef came out & proudly advise me how to best savour it, & offered a vietnamese coffee on the house! Will go back
Ahn (owner) was great! So kind & friendly & showed us the best ways to enjoy the authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The food was an excellent price & even more excellent quality! Pictured is the Obama meal (yes, that Obama) which was amazing & the spring rolls were divine. Also great was the Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk - cannot recommend enough!
This is the best Pho! Every time we come to Montreal we stop by here for a bowl of Pho Ga, summer rolls, & Vietnamese coffee. The atmosphere is cozy & the service great. If you're looking for Pho this is the place to be.
This is a hidden gem that deserves a lot more visits. Had dinner here right before the closing hour. I ordered B3, beef pho with brisket, beef slices, & the gelatinous connective tissues. With condiments at your hand, the pho is both bursting with flavors & fun to experiment with depending on your palette. According to the owner, who explained to me with great enthusiasm, the pho they make is of the north Vietnamese, notably Hanoi style. They make their broth 3 days in advance, with a lot of filtration such that the broth stays clear during the entire dining experience, & doesn't get muddy from the starch of the rice noodles. The different tissues & cuts of beef together with the broth will make you forget every "fake" pho you had in the past & be genuinely entertained by this bowl right in front of you. Will recommend to anyone visiting Montreal, especially on a rainy & exhausting day.
Some of the best Vietnamese food we've had outside of Vietnam. The beef salad was exceptional. All of the dishes were very flavourful, lots of fresh ingredients used in the preparation. Highly recommended.
Our first stop in Montreal. Delicious Vietnamese & some of the best I've had outside of Vietnam. Had Phở Tái Nạm & Bún Chả - Hà Nội. The owner talked to us about how he cooks everything fresh & made us feel very welcomed. Highly recommend.
Pho was super tasty. The broth is cooked for 3 days & the owner uses only fresh beef. It reminded me my trip to Vietnam. Rice paper rolls were also very nice. Service was great & attentive. They could work a little bit on a nice decor & atmosphere inside, but overall I'd definitely go back to try more things on the menu.
Succulent 😋 un vrai régal. Du vietnamien authentique. Propriétaire très sympathique. Une belle expérience & une découverte à refaire.
Pho Anh is a true culinary gem! From the warm welcome to the flavorful pho, every aspect of my dining experience was exceptional. The rich broth, tender beef, & friendly staff made my visit very welcoming. Reasonable prices & a diverse menu make this restaurant a must-visit for lovers of authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I can't wait to return for more delicious meals at Pho Anh!
