We were here just about 2h ago. I came here a few months ago with my husband & had a very bad experience but today, our waitress drastically improved our opinion of this restaurant! We were nearby craving for pho & honestly we were hesitant to come back since our past visit was mediocre but we decided to give it a second chance. Food came slow but was & still is delicious. Last time, we left disappointed by the service but this time, our waitress made sure to explain the dishes carefully & made sure we were okay throughout the whole meal. Condiments were given on the side which we did not get last time. We had the BB1 B3 & the AA, honestly spectacular. The pho does not come with bean sprouts. Last time, we did not get them either but no one bothered to tell us why. Just a quick'no we dont give them here'. This time, our waitress very kindly explained us that it was due to the pho being'Northern Pho'. We did not know that pho was served differently depending on the area, it wasn't explained to us previously however now we know! The BB1 seemed a little bland to me compared to other restaurants, but after adding some of that homemade chilli sauce, & some fish sauce it tasted much better. Overall, our experience today was very pleasant. We hope it will continue being that way. I have to say though, it is certainly worrying to see one little girl working alone in such a packed restaurant, I had a look into the kitchen as we went to pay & we also only saw one person working. Not sure if there were any staff else we weren't aware of ? We were told they were moving soon, hopefully the place will be much larger.
The flavours, the smells, & the wholesome goodness. Food that your body is thanking you for. Can highly recommend the vegetarian pho- no fillers just great veggies, mushrooms & tofu. .My husband had the beef & tripe pho which was full of good servings of meat.
Food is so well prepared & so clean & healthy.
I am not the best with chopsticks but not once did I feel put off or judged
A lovely welcoming place to eat & learn about Vietnamese food & culture.
I haven't even left this spot yet & I completely devoured my bowl of the B1 pho (rare steak). Our friendly waiter gave recommendations about keeping the flavor of the broth the star of the show. He was so right I could drink the broth by itself it's soooo delicious. You can really taste the quality of all the ingredients. I love how authenticity is their goal so you won't find the Thai basil & bean sprouts that tend to hide the flavor of the broth. My boyfriend & I came in disgustingly hungover & I believe this pho healed me. My boyfriend loved it as well. Their house sauces are so flavorful & really do taste well as a dip rather than pouring into the broth. I fully recommend you come here & try!! You will not be disappointed:)
Every single thing I tried here, including every single sauce & pickle, is incredible. They take 3 days to make their broth, & their marinated meat & broken rice are fantastic 🥲 Idk how to describe lol
the broth is amazingly delicious, like out of this world good! i really enjoyed the chicken pho, very simple but still has a lot of depth. the sauces & add ons are all
homemade, & the owner is very friendly & charming. i would come back to montreal for this restaurant alone 🥹
