Pho Anh proudly sells only famous pure Vietnamese dishes with distinctive flavours, original display. Pho Anh first opened its doors to Canadian diners in August 2014 in Vaughan, Ontario. Wow, this is so good!! Everything is so flavourful & fresh. Highlights included the shrimp papaya salad (so fresh & crunchy!), the 3-day pho broth, the homemade fermented hot sauce & the broken rice. You can feel the heart. I can't wait to be back!
If you're visiting Montreal… this is one Vietnamese restaurant you need to try. It's on a strip with many choices & this is one for you. Small place what looks like family owned & operated & it's busy so you know food is good yet no waiting time.
Very friendly staff & quick to served. Food is tasty & very fresh. Priced more reasonable than most similar places elsewhere. No matter what you order you will be happy.

After refining our orders & a quick lesson on the best ways to enjoy the variety of discrete components presented, we enjoyed our meals immensely. The food was presented beautifully - bowls of home-made broth with several kinds of pork, meatballs, eggs, fried rolls, pickles, noodles & copious amounts of fresh coriander, mint & lettuce. The owner & staff were very informative, lively & helpful. Vegetarian options are available & although none at our table sampled them, I can well imagine they are also wonderful. I will definitely be back for the spectacular combination of flavours & textures at Pho Anh.

Phenomenal pho. The broth is super flavorful & good amount of meat. Spring rolls with the fish sauce is excellent. Despite being a seasoned pho consumer, I learned some new techniques from the owner. He prepared a dipping sauce on our table (hoisin + fresh garlic + pickled jalapeno + chili oil) which was perfect to dip the meat in before each bite. Also my wife got an egg with her pho & the owner walked us through his preferred method in devouring it in one shot haha. Overall fantastic & we will be back!
Absolutely loved this place! The pho was incredible - rich broth, fresh tender meat, & lots of delicious homemade pickled veggies. The spicy chili oil was a real treat too. Our server was so kind & even explained how to properly enjoy pho, which made the experience even better. Cozy, clean, & full of heart - highly recommend
My friends & I enjoyed a delicious meal here while visiting Montreal. When we first entered, it seemed that there would be no seating available, until the owner quickly put together group seating for all six of us. From that moment, we knew we were in for a great experience. The restaurant was very busy when we went, & as such, it did take some time for us to get our food. However, the atmosphere was both fun & comfortable, giving us quality time to talk to one anotherr. Even better, the food more than made up for any wait. I ordered the chicken vermicelli, & most of my friends had the beef pho. The owner came out & gave us excellent advice on how to mix & enjoy our respective dishes, along with great conversation. Each dish was made fresh with real care & dedication; it's clear that everyone who works there puts love into the meals they create, ensuring diners will enjoy them too. To top it off, the Vietnamese iced coffee they served was the best I'd ever had. It was an incredible experience overall. If you're looking for a good meal in a great place, go to Pho Anh.
I had the vegetarian special, the broth was really good, overall very good pho, & tasted fresh & satifying. Definitely coming back to try other items on the menu

We had a craving for Pho on a chilly fall day in Montreal. This place does not disappoint. The owner personally came up to us & explained that the pho he serves here is true to what a traditional pho in Vietnam would be like. He explained the difference in flavor & serving preparations between what you normally find in western style pho restaurants & what you find in Vietnam. The quality speak for itself, everything was delicious, fresh, & prepared with care. If you are anywhere in central Montreal, this place is worth coming to.
