If I was stuck on a dessert island & could only bring three meals, authentic pho (with tripe & rare beef) would be one of them. Here, the staff were friendly & kind, seating us even though it was close to their afternoon closing time, as well as very knowledgeable about allergies, specifically what was safe to eat for someone with Celiac disease (the menu is very detailed about this too). & this was the best - the best! - pho I have had in a very, very long time! My partner & I both had the B3, the special pho with rare beef, tendon, pork belly & tripe & it was amazing!! Their broth is cooked for three days & is so fragrant & flavourful, & the meat was tender & delicious. I love savory Northern-style pho & this made all my dreams come true! All their pickles & sauces are made in house & nothing was put on the table that wasn't safe for us to eat. Although not a 100% gluten-free restaurant, I had no qualms about eating here & will make sure to come back (at least twice) every time I visit Montreal.
Delicioso.
Pho here was soooooo good! & I couldn't finish own cause the potion is too enough for me. Felt a bit sorry I left some noodles😱 & I ordered desserts a coconut ice cream(As you all know, there's always a room for dessert) was amazing. I don't really choose the coconut flavors but this was Umm!
& the water was also nice! I talked h a bit & I had a great time :) because I was all alone to traveling Montreal. Thank you for everything. I'm sure I'm coming back !
Definitely my go-to spot for Pho in town! The broth is incredibly rich & flavourful.
As a Hanoian, this was a pleasant surprise. All of the items we tried were authentic northern vietnamese cuisine. Haven't had gi? c?y in 10 years, & my wife was shocked that we could find it here lol. One of the best pho & best vietnamese restaurants in North America.
p/s: to owner, will you add qu?y (youtiao) to the menu? 👀
My favourite Vietnamese restaurant because it is super authentic, the only place where pho soup doesn't taste like MSG & makes you so thirsty like hell after. I'd recommend their pho & grills. The green papaya salad is ok but a bit small.
But Bun Bo Hue really needs some improve, it tastes plain & nothing like the authentic one (the special fragrance for Bun Bo Hue is missing) but overall it's amazing! The grills were good!
We visited this restaurant with my mom & my aunt, & it was one of the best Vietnamese food experiences we've had in Montreal
We ordered the **Special Nam Dinh Pho**, & it was absolutely delicious. The broth tasted just like authentic Northern Vietnamese pho-rich, comforting, & incredibly flavorful without the overpowering five-spice aroma that is so common in many pho restaurants overseas. It truly reminded us of home.
My aunt, who has lived in Canada for many years, said this was the first time she had eaten a bowl of pho that tasted this authentic. That says a lot.
The restaurant itself is clean, cozy, & has the warm feeling of a family-run place where you can relax & enjoy a great meal.
If we ever visit Montreal again, this restaurant will definitely be one of our first stops. I'll also be recommending it to all of my friends. Thank you for bringing such authentic Northern Vietnamese flavors to Canada!
